The big surprise to me is they had $600k+ in one account just from their VIP experience? They make that much money off just that??

Anyone have any idea how long federal criminal investigation on something like this would usually take? I'm guessing that isn't something that happens quickly.

If one were to commit a crime for the most amount of money possible, w the least amount of consequences this is the crime to commit. My dad was an attorney and he told me these ponzi guy generally get light sentences and can serve at country club jails.  Espiecially if they can recover money.  The wife may end up screwed as their assets may be seized as repayment.

Mirtl also made many unauthorized and/or personal-related Venmo payments/transfers, including those for a babysitter for Mirtl’s child, totaling at least $15,000 from Wells Fargo Account No. X-8049.

So Mirtl was using a hooker as a 'babysitter'...

I haven’t looked up the numbers recently but I think for Friday it was $1000 a person and Saturday was like $2500 a person times that by 15 people for both days and it’s $52500 per weekend. Times that by 17 and it’s a tri axel load of cash.

Edit. I just looked it up it’s $500 for friday anf $1500 for Saturday which at 15 people is $30k per race or $510,000 for a 17 round supercross season.

The Lawrences demanded that Mirtl refrain from accessing any bank accounts or any other accounts holding any assets of the Lawrences and also that he refrain from wearing skinny jeans, being that he's such a fat cunt.

Paying for divorce lawyers and payments of other clients RV’s with the Lawrence’s accounts is not a good look, especially since it now looks like they have the proof on paper

what a shit-ton of drama. Wonder if these new agents knew a little more than they might have told Wasserman/Lawrences with Mirtl's veiled threat at those guys? I mean, he trained Travis as an agent, right? And he didn't know about ANYTHING Mirtl was doing? Perhaps, but unlikely. Not sure how this helps Mirtl, though.

Hopefully, and presumably, the Lawrences are going through all their accounts and looking at the going-ons of their other agents as well.

Maybe the Coenen bros were planning to pay them back for the RV? Much like when somebody bought the Lawrence’s an RV back in their Euro days and they paid them back. Can’t remember who bought them an RV back in the day but I remember their dad saying that somebody helped them out with that.

Speaking of RVs.  Has RV cut ties with Mirtl yet?

They aren’t pocketing all of that money, Feld gets a cut and I’m sure the stadium is getting something out of it it too

Seems a little weird, why isn't Wassermann included in this civil suit.  I mean Mirtl was employed with them and seems like he did this on his own according the the civil suit.  If you look at any other lawsuit that involves companies they are responsible for there employees actions.  Im not sticking up for the guy but seems why would they target him and not Wassermann as well. Plus they are still with the company.  To me I would have cut all ties with everyone and found another agency.  This is not looking good for him but it sure seems a little sketchy all around.

I agree - we can't speak to the exact nature of their agreement but this seems like it would be Wasserman's liability, ultimately.

So he keeps saying he's blindsided and there were no 'hey what's with this?' questions..

Was he under the impression they'd pull him aside one day and ask about all the money coming out, and he'd just say 'oh nah see, I have full intentions on paying all that back' and then the Lawrence's would say 'Oh do ya? Oh ok then, cause we just thought you were using our money as your own.. No worries then'..

(Yes Falcon if you read this I know I started that as a question but I don't know where to put the question mark haha)

I see 2 things that raise eyebrows of concern. I find it hard to believe the agents at Wasserman have full access to their clients bank accounts with no supervision. I can’t imagine that someone in upper management or at least a supervisor has to okay or sign off on every transaction. Very hard to believe that doesn’t happen. 2nd, if Wasserman doesn’t have these security controls in place, at the very least they are liable for gross negligence. They should then be sued and have to pay big. As for the Alpinestars invoice for $240K, after a couple months they’d be calling the Accounts Payable dept. at Wasserman for payment not the agent. I seriously doubt the agent writes the checks. 2nd thought no chance the agent writes the checks.

Something sounds really off here.

100% agree. Definitely lack of financial controls at Wasserman if all said is true. Gross negligence at the very least with huge liability for Wasserman. IMO.
