Deegan’s podium speech was ridiculous… I get the whole razz up your rival by talking shit, but the fact he stated Beameur poked the bear/beast/whatever and that’s why he won tonight implies he can wick it up whenever he wants, which, as evident in the first couple of round, he can’t. Time to zip it and let his riding do the talking, because it’s going to anyway.
Where’s all the Vital Psychology PhD’s? Juju takes him down that 1st corner in the Main and I don’t think Deegan comes back from that mentally, but lucky he held on. He will use this win to stay motivated but my bet is he gets beaten straight up more times this year and will crumble under the weight of his own self-professed superiority not really being reflected over his peers who actually have shown (in SX) he’s not THE guy, just one of them.

I've never watched one of the Deegan's youtube videos, have no need to live vicariously through some kid and his family. I find it truly bizarre that people would obsessively follow people like that who are just marketing to you 24/7.

Haiden is kid from California that rides the wheels of of that Factory YZ250F, A hard worker that is willing to win every time he shows up to a race, and when he doesn't win, he's the first one to congratulate the rivals, when he wins, he gives the hands to his rivals like he did today with JuJu, he's just a humble raised kid.
Deegan is the one who calls out riders on the podium and the haters, and acts like an entiled punk in social media showing off his cars and watches (That "he" won).
That's the problem, he has to decide who he wants to be, Haiden or Deegan. Beacuse Deegan seems to be a character, not a real person, and riders have started to realize that. JuJu knows it.

I honestly don't care about the podium antics. I rarely watch the interviews anyway. In between races I'm usually getting up from the TV. Is his shtick my cup of tea? Not really. But I only care about the riding on the track. The Ryan's were boring as hell on the podium but it didn't affect how I felt about them at all.
Love to watch him rail turns but, I'm really looking forward to someone shutting that mouth up for him.

Yep the podium nonsense is just a over exaggerated act IMO ,similar to pro wrestling. Deegans are purely doing it for marketing reasons. The Deegan's want a rival just like Brian had all through FMX with TP199. It puts more eyes on them. This season.... First it was Kitchen and now JuJu.
