Ape is taking the piss. I'm pretty sure it's a Mookieism.
lol, he made the Lawerence bros
His defense is there's no way he could've done it because other people had logins to the accounts? Seriously?
Wonder if he'll advertise his new independent agent services on VitalMX and Pulp?

Geez. Reading that only brought one question to mind: Is he on drugs?
As with anyone.... it's innocent until proven guilty.
That said, the evidence must be pretty freaking damaging for the L camp to go scorched Earth like that.
If it is some kind of misunderstanding, the L camp is going to be in some deep shit of their own.
We'll see how it all plays out.
He needs to pay that guy in the Rich Taylor thread to shill his services
Amazing! Somehow he’s the victim in all of this.
“I don’t know how to get through this right now.”
Well if it’s a complete backstabbing like you’ve implied, get a lawyer for one. However, if you know you’ve fucked up, I would also be asking myself “How the fuck do I get out of this? I’ve ruined everything.”
Honestly, that post reads of a desperate man who’s just barely starting to understand the consequences of his actions as his world crashes around him.
Did someone already bust you for “in the sky”?
Absolutely. If it can’t be definitively proven there will be huge lawsuits. That girl in Texas got 2.8 million for a second degree burn for hot barbecue sauce on her leg
He woke up this morning like..

I think he meant if he would steal something he wouldn't do it on an account where missing money would be obvious because a bunch of people and controllers have access to them
His response is wild, in many ways. This tiny little statement, lost in all the emotion, defending himself, and other nonsense....is very telling. So, there is a "this" huh? Weird....
I'm my opinion an innocent party, IF they publicly responded at all, would just say something along the lines of "This is a false accusation and the truth will come out"
Any time I’ve tried telling someone “I’m a good guy, I swear”, I was up to no good 😂
What a clown .
Instead of consulting a lawyer then issuing a statement based on their advice the guy goes straight on the socials and posts one of the most incomprehensible pieces of garbage I’ve ever read.
After reading that I’m sure the Lawrence family are incredibly relieved to be done with the guy.
However, the HR onboarding department at Wasserman needs a slap for hiring the guy.
Ah the armchair lawyer vitards have already had their trial and made their decision. This thread will go 20+ pages as the experts sound off with their legal opinions 😂. Vitards, have at it.
Based on his written communication, it's safe bet that his embezzlement skills are equally sophisticated.
I’m pretty sure it’s voice to text which just adds an even extra layer of stupidity and laziness to the statement but I agree with you completely. At least when I read it as if it was written verbatim it’s easier to piece it together.
Pit Row
You have the biggest “can’t miss” rider on the planet and that’s not enough for you? Greed is a crazy thing.
Nah, but seriously, there's a bunch of the red flags of substance abuse present here that somebody who is supposedly a professional in business communication and legal agreements pressed "send" on this as a public statement after serious criminal accusations.
Red flags:
The hasty writing style and lack of any proofreading prior to send.
The stream-of-consciousness organization.
Incomplete thoughts trailing off to nothing.
The defensive how dare you impugn me -- I am a known good guy, rather than directly responding to or, better yet from a legal standpoint, quietly cataloging accusations and saying nothing until seeking counsel.
The paranoid anger and revenge-seeking: I know one of you close to me did this, and I'll make your life hell.
The weird confessional pleading: Hey, I've made my mistakes, but haven't we all.
The call for allies: You're with me or against me.
The dispairing (and possibly suicidally coded): I don't know if I can even get through this moment.
The final lashing out: I hope this never happens to all you haters.
It is baffling how someone with this level of professionalism (or lack of) could possibly wedge themself into such a position of wealth using those "skills". Seriously, who in their right mind would let someone who can't even use proper punctuation handle their contract negotiations, media obligation, etc.
To me, that highlighted portion says he knows something was going on.
Embezzling almost always happens in complex accounts where multiple people have access. If you want to get away with robbing, you have to provide cover. Like how a pick pocket always chooses places where there are many people around to blend in with.
Honestly, this is more damaging to Wasserman. If I was an other athlete I would be wondering why it took the Lawrances to find the issue? Why didn't the accountants find the error? What kind of checks and balances do they have in place so it's not left to the athletes and celebrities they rep to double check everything?
Voice to text while racing with a bug out bag to find his barrel of cash buried in the desert, breaking bad style.
This is Chris Betts’ opportunity to shine baby! The sport needs a white knight agent in this dark hour!
The fact he didn’t have a lawyer draft up a response is mind boggling…
My favorites are "honest" and "trustworthy" car sales scum.
If there is only a login stopping outsiders from getting in, I would be very careful about jumping to conclusions.
Just as he says, in his position, to steal money and not knowing it will be discovered. Naaa.
If that was true, I would be getting out of country with large enough amounts to not have to work again.
Stealing some that gets discovered within 2 weeks, at a professional level management company with accounting principles in place to discover this?
My guess, we will see a retracted statement from Lawrence camp soon to avoid getting sued when it turns out they (or maybe Mirtl) where hacked.
Didn't he say in the Whisky Throttle podcast that his mom was acting as his agent? Or business manager or something?
Like I said prior in this thread, Mirtl has always thought he’s way more important than he actually is. Every appearance on Pulp was him blowing himself.
