Some of you people have never been to the Pontiac Silverdome in the 90's and it shows.

Hot tip: When a brawl happens in a stadium you don't want to get into it with the row below you. Guy on the upper row is punching down and has no balance. You want to be on the lower row and treat it like a hockey fight, grab his shirt by the left sleeve/shoulder area and pull him down to you ruining his balance while you have your legs spread in a nice base and deliver a haymaker.

I’m very hopeful that the absolute POS that takes a swing at a dude that’s being held down is not a true San Diegan (stolen form Ron Burgundy).

I used to get my sx tickets through Hanson beverage, prior to monster being the title sponsor. We never knew what type of tickets we were getting.

One year my buddy and I are trying to find our seats and I thought some dudes were sitting in them. So I asked them if they were in the right seats and they instantly puffed up. I’m pretty laid back so I tried showing him our tickets but he wasn’t having it, just kept mouthing. An usher noticed and took a look at my tickets. He smiled and said, oh your going to heaven not the regular seating.  He then takes into the hanson suite. We grab beers and went to check out our view and the dude was looking right at us from from the regular seats. I was like sorry dude you were right. lol.

I remember leaving a Lions game back in the day and as we got near our car and saw a guy parked withing inches of his door. My buddy says (I'll never forget the exact line) "What kind of dickhole would park like this?" The words weren't out of his mouth 2 seconds, and he was tackled from the back with the dude ringing shots off his head. He was with a big group, and we had a big group, needless to say it was quite the donnybrook. That place was freaking wild. I basically wouldn't take my wife there because if you had a good looking girl with you the taunts would rain down on you something fierce.

On the other hand the guy on the upper row can use his feet. I witnessed this first hand, ironically, at a hockey game in Detroit lol. Lights out.

Always amazes me so many people wear black at supercross races.

Seems like it would be hard to get the foot over the chair in that kind of closed in space.

We used to go to The Joe to watch hockey and get standing room only seats for real cheap. As the game went along, we could filter down to seats in the lower bowl that were unoccupied. My brother got one about 10 rows up while the rest of us were standing. A Blackhawks fan dumped a beer on my brother's head from above. Not only did he lose a beer, but he also got a bloody nose.   lol

Funny thing is I've been to quite a few Chicago football games at Soldier field and never had a bad word with Bears fans. Not sure if it was because half of the group was Lions fans and half was Bears fans, but Chicago fans were always great at home but on the road, they were pretty rowdy.

Side benefit of increasing ticket prices is the rowdiness has gone way down. Crazy times are fun to reminisce on but I'm way more laid back with nothing to prove anymore. I can't remember the last time I had a beer at a sporting event. I enjoy a beverage like any red blooded American man but I enjoy not missing any action while I'm waiting in line to take a whiz better. Can you imagine taking a squirt and missing Eli passing Jett on the outside?

Age old combination of alcohol, lack of wives telling them what to do or trying to impress girlfriends (no need to impress wives since they are done auditioning), and flexing in front of their friends.  9 times out of 10 the fights are just yelling matches, but sometimes they get rowdy.

Looks like all the other knuckleheads that just HAD to get involved ruined what could have been a good fight! (where's that damn sarcasm emoji!) Cracked me up watching the surrounding kids videoing and having a good ol time.

No chance those two could ever have a good fight.

Fine line knowing when to get involved.

It used to be worse in the 90s-2010s.  Tons of shit being thrown from the upper levels onto the lower seats. Fights.  But the craziest fight ever was at LA Coliseum, picture it, 1998, the year Tortelli won, chicks were showing their tits everywhere.  They were even getting on the big screen. So a drunk dude decides to show his dick. Hes standing up swinging around.  The guy in the row in front of him is highly offended.  He actually grabs the guys dick, so guy cant get away, and starts pummeling the naked guy in the face over and over. People cheered

This will probably be a long post but it’s kind of a funny story. So my wife and I were at Anaheim with the two kids again probably around ages five and eight thereabouts. There were some girls about 10 rows in front of us pulling up their shirts and showing everyone their tits, it didn’t really bother me I thought it was kind of funny. However, my wife didn’t think it was funny and apparently neither did any of the other wives in the area. It went on for a while with guys taking pictures and whistling and hooting at them. Eventually some security showed up from a few rows below them and started walking toward them, so the girls pulled their shirts back down and started walking up the aisle. All the women in the area were yelling at them and calling them sluts and whores as they were walking up the aisle. We had the seats by the aisle, so of course they walked right by us. The girls yelled something back at the other women like you wish you looked this good old lady blah blah blah. Our seats were on the aisle so they walked right by us.  The next thing I know a guy like three or four rows below us jumps out into the aisle, pull his pants down, grabs his dick and starts wiggling it around and saying  “come on girls get on this yeah baby woohoo” and his friends were all yelling and cheering and laughing. I looked over at my kids, and they were both staring at a full-grown mans penis for the first time in their life. I’m not really an aggressive person but I fucking lost my shit, jumped out of my chair and hit the fucker in the forehead as hard as I could, I was aiming for his nose and face, but he looked down when he saw the punch coming so I got him right in the forehead. He went reeling backwards and I immediately thought oh shit I just fucked up big time. Fuck fuck fuck I fucked up oh fuck. So I ran back up and jumped in my seat,  looked over and my wife wasn’t there, I was like what the fuck where she go ? Then I looked back down where the guy was and I shit you not all the other women had this dude‘s shirt over his head and were pounding on his back and head kicking him in legs and nuts, probably five or six women just wailing on this dude, and of course, my wife is right down there in the thick of it. So I go back down there and I grab her and say hey we gotta go man we gotta go sit down, I turned around and ran into the biggest security guard I’ve ever seen in my whole life, I think my nose hit him in the belly button, the guy was huge. My first thought was oh shit this is gonna hurt, but the guy bends over and looks at me and says “I saw that whole thing you should go sit down” “I was like aye aye captain” and went back and jumped in our seats. Right about that time the 125 Main started. The kids were a little shell shocked, but they got over it.
The funniest part of the story was the following Wednesday when our daughter had her girl Scout meeting. When my wife went to pick her up, the other moms who were on the conservative side, nowadays they’d be called “Karen’s” said to her “Oh wow, we heard you had quite a weekend, the girls said you beat up a guy at a motorcycle race”  She said, she got embarrassed, turned red and tried to slink away asap 😂😂😂. I picked up our daughter from Girl Scouts for the next few weeks, it was never brought up again.   The story got funnier for me, a couple weeks after all that happened. I was talking to a guy I had met on the pool route who saw motocross stickers on my truck and called me over because he needed a poll guy.  We started talking and I told him the story and he goes “that was you” ? we were watching those girls with our binoculars from the other side of the stadium and saw the whole thing. He became one of my best friends, and we went to the races together for years. 😛

One other time my son was just getting old enough to use the urinal. After we waited in line for like 20 minutes for his turn to pee some douchebag walks past everyone in line, parks next to my son and starts pissing in the same urinal. So I yanked him backwards by his shirt and said wtf dude come on. He started jumping up and down and fist pumping saying “I’ll fucking smoke you old man” My son was done so I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the bathroom. I never even looked back at the guy but I could hear him saying “yeah that’s right walk away you fucking pussy I’ll kick your ass old man you better walk” yeah yeah yeah fucking stupid drunk fuck, I think his friends grabbed him and told him to chill out. Supercross is fun !!!! 😂

Monster energy and alcohol.....it pulls from both angles.  Slow down with the alcohol.....speed up with the Monster.  I'm sure there are people (apparently in San Diego) that can't mix the two.  Chill out and don't make a dumbass of yourself like these idiots.  Children

The guy on our row didn't want to fight but the idiot in front really wanted some and as his drunk ass was trying to climb over the chair he caught a heel to the nose/forehead. Curb stomped standing up. I was a kid and it's one of those things in life I vividly remember. lol

We moved to Texas when I was young but I always held on to the Red Wings as my team. When the Dallas Stars had a great rivalry going on with the Red Wings and Avalanche in the late 90's/early 00's we would go to all of the playoff games in our Red Wings gear. The old Reunion Arena was a rowdy venue but any shit we caught from the Dallas fans was in good fun as it should be. Good times.

And yes I'm another idiot that pulls out his phone and films. I want absolutely nothing to do with a fight. A lot of the fight was happening during the first part of the 450 main. I was trying to watch the race but had to keep checking behind me to make sure some idiot didn't come rolling down at me. I've never been to an event that had a whole section with absolutely zero security presence.

I drove by the stadium on Saturday and saw some backed up traffic from the 15 to Friars Rd. including mallcrawlers from Temecula. My first thought was parking lot wars.😄
