Nice finish for Justin. Didn’t he pretty much come straight off the couch/outta the patrol car for this one?
Could be wrong. I just had a trigger finger release procedure this morning so I might be loopy.
Also saw the Lil Red Dog injury. Bummed for the guy. Achilles injury is no joke.
He raced with the big boys and held his own, didn’t he?!
It was pretty damn nice seeing him and his brother at the races.
IMO, Justin Hill was the most impressive ride of A1.
I enjoyed seeing him mix it up with the factory boys and its better for us when he lines up.
Edit - Justin ain't "over the hill" yet.....
Justin apparently didn't get the memo that everyone on my fantasy team was supposed to shit the bed at A1. He was sneaky good last year nice to see him continue.
The Tedder team seems to be virtually invisible for a team putting in top 10 results. I never hear or see anything about them, had no idea they were racing again this year.

If he keeps it up, where does he end up in ‘26…?
I think 8th place is a fantastic finish for Justin Hill. But my question is, is Justin Hill okay with being an 8th place guy? Or will the drive/desire to race dwindle again?
The dude can ride. With a good start I bet he can hold his own with the big dogs
He had a great post-race interview with SwapMotolive.
Starts about the 6:10 mark (hopefully this link works)

After his Swapmoto ‘How was your weekend’ interview he seemed like he was serious about trying to make this season count, as he was saying ‘this is my time’ and even mentioned getting a win. He’s gonna be interesting to follow as this year goes on
Incredible performance. It’s amazing how being forced to get a job can be a real motivator for a talented rider!
Maybe taking Chiz's spot?
if it ain't broke... Justin seems like he has a good program for himself.. not sure going back to a factory team would be the smart move.
I dunno…I can almost promise you that old man Tedder can provide a more stable and better funded program than HEP Suzuki if he wants to.
I think he loves where he's at. Races if he wants to on a decent bike, of he suddenly decides he'd rather go ride in the hills for the rest of the year, it doesn't seem like Tedder minds either way. Stoked to see him riding great again.
I think A-1s finish is exactly where Justin belongs and like he told Swap he can do even better! Hopefully we'll see Josh line up too soon. Hills are the coolest family in moto.
Man that seems like a double-edged sword to me! I like Hill a lot, especially how he can come back and drop an 8th and make it look so easy. Like @aeffertz said though, will that be enough? Or will his desire to do much better get to him if it doesn't happen soon?
I hope he understands how badass it is to come back and log an 8th in THIS class and he just keeps on doing what's working and steadily improving...
Those bros are among the top in their abilities.. I was pumped to see him doing so well.. If he keeps it up, whose bike is he stealing next year for good money?
If you listen to him in the Gypsy Tales podcast, he sounded super motivated and seems to have done a complete 360 and is taking training seriously, learning about his body more etc.
If you can get past the “fuck yeah bro’s” and the Jujitsu talk it’s a great listen, Justin is way more mature and well spoken than you would expect.
Pit Row
I agree with this one 100%. A low pressure team that's proven they can build a decent bike is exactly what a guy like Hill needs to do well. Put him on a factory bike with pressure to perform, and I think he'd rather go sing karaoke.
He brought it! Hoping to see more of this tomorrow!
The quad he busted out at todays press stuff was bad ass
Honestly this might be crazy but there’s something about Justin Hill and Haiden Deegan that remind me of one another, I just can never put my finger on what exactly
They both ride dirt bikes?
If he did a 360, he’s right back where he started. He did a complete 180.
It is crazy how easy and smooth he looked through that whole video.
I don’t think he will go anywhere, he loves the team and the support he gets, and he not bound to their way of thinking.
By that logic wouldn’t a 180 put him back to where he was before? A Sheriff? Haha
180,360 whatever.. you know what I mean lol
What a badass!
Doing the whip at the end was cherry on top cool.
I'll be following Justin today for sure. He looks super fit in interviews.
