Kitchen vs. Deegan Trash Talking | For or Against?

I'm excited to see what Levi does this year. I'm not a fan of instigating shit talking, but that only sweetens the pot if the guy on the other side takes it.

Harmless fun and I think it makes the sport more interesting. All sports have some sort of rivalry why can’t dirtbike racing? 

Difference is in all other “sports” the fans are ok with trash talking…for some reason mx fans on VitalMx get upset with trash talking. It seems to upset them more than it upsets the actual racers involved.,

Shit talking is good as long as you back it up. And from Levi's outdoor performance...I'd say he bit off more than he can chew. On the other hand, shit talking the FANS is definitely not a good look.

I’m not a fan of the trash talking in general but it is what it is.  It ain’t going away so I just live with it.   Some of it is kind of comical really.

Him and Deegan are doing nothing Webb did. Webb played some head games which seem to still work. These guys give each other to much credit. But little nullshit never hurt. But making it up and fabricating it for the fans is weird this isn’t wwf. 

But when Webb or Jett trash talk Vitards foam at the mouth...

Trash talking blew up with the movie the bad news bears. 5th&6th grade we played other schools in bball & fast pitch softball. Oh man we let them hv it.  B4 the game trash talking on how bad where going to kill them,etc. we wanted the team to give everything they had at us.  . then run the score up there crying then we really let them hv it.  Hs packed gyms fans yelling at us trash talking .  I Loved away games packed gyms fans yelling trash talking , booing. I Loved it after a big score point to them or there coach & mouth too easy. And skip & dance down the court.  On the court it’s non stop trash talking.  Both teams are trying to get the Max out of the other.  In am Mx it’s a no no , I don’t understand that.  90,s Mx pro,s talked a lot of trash or they call it being cocky.  ALi did a lot of talking Look at how big the fights where & him.  Remember A.Rogers saying he owned the Bears b4 the game mid week. The Bears got all we,ll see about that . Then Roger’s blows them off the field .  It added a million times more to the game.  A lot of people at work use trash talk phrases from a stick & ball player at work.  

They are friends and doing it.to people interested 

If I was at a party and Levi showed up, I'd probably vibe pretty well with the dude. 

If I was at a party and Haiden showed up, I'd probably turn to my buddy and say, "this guy's a fucking douche bag."

I've always been a Levi fan but after watching clips from his Gypsy pod, watching his vlogs and seeing him on Sexton's I'm verging on fanboy haha seems like an absolute dude.. 

I'm not a fan of Deegan either so that spices West up nicely haha   

There was a kid from New Jersey some years ago that loved to run his mouth all the time and play games. Did win a regional SX title but then promptly took his career right into the toilet. Generally acting like an a-hole doesn’t translate into a great long term career. I’m all for being confident in your ability but when you disrespect your competitors I’ll never be a fan.

There's banter (Think Dean Wilson), and then there's trash-talking. If you, as Deegan, opt for trash-talking and build your brand around it, then just don't be upset when people don't do you favors on the track or don't invite you to their SX event (Lawrence's) - because at that point you just seem pathetic and immature.

You forgot to add , if I was at a party All alone in a dark corner counting the pencils in my front pocket . And so& so walked in . Conservative boring office bros r boring.  Even rock bands got into it. David Lee Roth trashing Geddy Lee of Rush was funny. Deeg will probably hv a artist write a hit song about him . Just like ALI had a hit song .  Ali shot his mouth off b4 he won anything.  Biggest athlete ever.

It’s pretty mild compared to the trash talking in hockey - at least that’s how it used to be. Didn’t guys like Hannah trash talk back in the day? But I get the impression he meant it. Now it’s on social media and it’s just marketing.
