I know some on here think I'm a Jett hater, I'm truly not. What he does on the bike at his age is definitely amazing to see. The "hater" part I bitch about all the time is more about how the broadcast team over publicizes EVERYTHING the kid does. And they act like he's the first one to ever do everything. JT needs to stop the gargling, its out of control. When a 250 Main or moto is going on...Broadcast team: "Can we please show a window in window shot of the currently LIVE moto but also show Jett just sitting at the Honda semi picking his nose while watching the same LIVE moto? Okay great, now do that 4 times on every broadcast weekend."

Do you have any evidence of this mental block? Or is it just vibes based? Because he just won the SX and SMX championships. I feel like you’re reading way too much into a single sentence of an entire interview. What I took away was that he’s leaning into the whole “I want to break every record there is” thing which is what you’d expect a winning rider to think, even though it’ll be sure to ruffle some feathers again.
I’ll believe he’s letting the crowd get to his head when he stops winning and is still making these remarks. He’s certainly not doing himself any favors by not just being a media robot and I feel like he’s probably going to get boo’ed at A1 but maybe that’s what he needs to stay motivated, I dunno. 🤷♂️

Say what you want about Jett, but you can't deny he is a great rider. That being said, I hope Tomac kicks the sh*t out him all year and he gets over himself.
Don't forget, Jett is a Aussie and I doubt there is that much hate in OZ...same as SA...humble down to earth folk both here and in Oz.

I understand the hate… I don’t agree with any of it, but I understand it. I also think Jett’s not fazed by it, and instead has decided to welcome it. You might recall he got quite a bit of hate for daring to say he was going after McGrath’s win record. Now he’s saying he’s going to try to get a perfect supercross season. He expects to get some hate for that, and he will. I think he’ll handle it fine.
But for those of you tripping on his ink, did you miss where he said he asked his parents for permission to get them before turned 18 (21?); that should be good enough for you “role model scolds.”

The old 'not a hater it's just the exposure' argument. What horseshit, a whole bunch of people have had problems with Jett from the start - which is baffling. Do you think all the redneck fucks that booed him earlier this year did so because of the 'over-exposure'? It's impossible to not think its a jealously/resentment problem from a segment of American fans. The vitriol he got for simply stating he was interested in beating the 'King's' record was completely out of proportion. Take a look at yourself. I don't see a single non-American fan shitting on Jett. They can appreciate how great it is to see an incredible rider in action and not ruin it for themselves and others by putting on the red white and blue blinkers. I for one hope all this shit doesn't push him out of the sport early.
By the way, his competition should be very worried. Jett is fucked off and will take it out on them.

u do realize he’s the star of the sport right 🤔 we seen a couple of times of when they showed chase in the KTM pits cycling on the stationary bike with AP beside him , why 🤔 cause they are also stars of the sport , like it or not its a broadcast strategy, its no different of when I’ve sat thru numerous of UFC & boxing ppv’s where after a prelim fight or during fighter walks out & fight judges score card decisions where they show the main card / main event fighters either walking into the arena or shadow boxing in they locker room 🤷🏾♂️ half of time depending on who’s fighting , they’ll show the guys back in the locker room watching the fight after each round getting ready for their fight
No more predictable than a section of American fans taking the opportunity to attack Jett Lawrence while simultaneously getting rimmed by Princess Brian and his media machine.

Lolz at both Jett and Deegs whining about the haters when they have the biggest fan bases in the sport. If anyone should be complaining about haters it should be Chase. He’s one of the few to challenge the newly appointed and all he gets is crap when he gets second.
It's astounding how many of you have zero clue how production works. He was asked questions, he answered the questions that were put to him. Then the producers edited it in a way to extract certain sound bites that will elicit reactions and chatter. I highly doubt Jett just sat down and started saying all of this unprompted. This is what they chose to ask and then run in their show because that's the narrative they want to go with. Same with Hunter and his cars, that's their choice to ask to film and edit it that way. They also chose to run bites of danger Dingus saying he doesn't care about haters and everyone laps it up and he's "badass". Eli's part was all emotional and about being his final year. It's all a chosen narrative for the production and dunces pick their lane and decide that's how people carry on 24/7 . Y'all weird....

Genuine question, does anyone actually not like him because he is a foreigner? It makes zero difference whatsoever to me personally where the guy winning is from. Would I like better racing overall and have less of Jett dominating? Of course I would, but it's not his fault he is as dominant as he is, that is the objective as a professional athlete. I am always just confused on why Jett is so caught up on the American's not liking him because he is winning in 'their' series, maybe that is a thing I just don't see it.
At some point when you've won all there is to win and already have more money than you know what to do with, I'd imagine a time comes when you need to find new sources of motivation and start relying more heavily on the darker side. Discussed well here:
