Lotte van Drunen broke her ankle in 3 places, surgery planned.
Season start should not be in danger
That's such a bummer! I was looking forward to seeing her race at Mini O's. Hopefully the recovery won't be too long.
Musquin is a 100% retired rider for a while, now.
Am I the only one who was disappointed to see webb is still rocking a bell helmet? Matthes was talking on the podcast to webb about the fly gear and kept saying the fly formula helmet is soo good, youre gonna love it. Wtf was he talking about, webb is still using bell?

He'll be in a Fly helmet come A1.
Sadly not going to happen. But there was brief contact between them.
He had a Fly helmet on in Deegs latest YouTube vid, then showed him in a Bell again
So, what's left for Haarup, now? 🤔
How hasn’t that 23 and under rule not been changed yet? At least change it to 25 and under and give the guys a few more years. Shoot half of them are starting to race MX2 at 20 years old.
Crazy to think Haarup has nothing confirmed this late in the off season. He was riding great this past season, hope he lands at a good spot
He will, but just not yet.
Recent news from both riders are telling us that Guillod and Paturel have actually no contract and no perspective for 2025 MXGP season.
So with Haarup, we can count 3 good riders without a decent ride for next year in 450cc category.
Real shame!
That's crazy indeed. Paturel was expected, but Guillod (top 10 rider) en Haarup (potential top 10 rider) shows how the money game is played at the moment. No money = no ride
Heard his manager kept playing the big money game with Kawasaki and Kawasaki said deal is off and was left with nothing. He is not happy about it.
It sucks for these riders, but it is kind of the consequence when most rides are taken. It's supply and demand. If there are any spots left i would imagine that such a team would be looking at which rider wants to give in the most/is the most desperate.
If you are a team that can offer a ride for the full championship then resultswise i think Paturel, Guillod, Haarup etc on a 1 year deal are all similar and attractive. And since there are so little spots left it makes sense for these teams to find the one willing to ride for free or even bring a sponsor.
Who’s Haarup’s manager?
A lot of European riders are working without an agent, dunno if Haarup has one. Agents aren't jumping up and down at the thought of 10% of 50k/year. Than look at the US market all the agents and we all know enough.
Pit Row
Glen Dempsey.
Both Guillod and Paturel have no agent.
Julius Mikula signed for two seasons with TM Racing.
This guy is really good, great skill on the bike and only 18. I really hope bike and team will be on par...
Any news regarding Herlings injury? And If it’s true any rumours about potential fill in?
The injury is real. There has been talks of Valentin Guillod on the bike, not sure what happened then.
Those rumours are false (so far). Guillod will go privateer on a Yamaha.
False because of Guillod or Herlings injury?
Herlings will be ready.
REFYN is making moves ahead of the public launch in the coming weeks.
They have just announced a partnership with Van Venrooy KTM...
The Guillod part. There has been talks, but seems like it did not happen. Indeed Valentin will be a privateer on Yamaha.
Any word on how Liam Everts is doing after that scary injury in China? Is he back on the bike?
