It was posted somewhere else that it’s a mistake.  The hypothesis is that he meant “no show clause” (I might be wrong in what the correct word is, can’t remember exactly)

Google search returns nothing for "no shine clause". No show clause is usually when you don't get paid or refunded if you don't show up, or I guess it could be written the other way around. Maybe danger boy wasn't preparated with the correct info when he posted.

From 30,000ft it looks like The Brothers had some type of clause and things had to be walked back.

Just sayin'...

So the theory is the Lawrence’s only agreed to race if Deegan wasn’t invited? I’m not buying it.  The simplest answer is often the correct one. And there’s one group involved here who loves to stir the pot.

They might be running a lot of the same plays but Deegan has also earned his way to the top of one of the most pure sports.

Paul is very good at producing entertainment for a specific target market.

They'll be here shortly.  They're just carefully removing Brian's manhood from their various orifices.

Seems to me by not responding and saying "We didn't do that." that the Lawrence sisters are actually confirming that they did do it.

Or what did I miss?

I'll tell ya one thing this has confirmed for me, Aussies are cry babies.  But we already knew that after Anderson made Jett look like a little bitch in SX right?  Remember how he cried like a 5 year old?  Shit was hilarious.

Can't wait to see Ando make him cry again this year.  Maybe he can go for the double and make Hunta cry too?

I'd say that the only person looking like a bitch was Old Hombre with his 4 podium finishes and 5th in the final standings. Add to that the fact he looked as slow and old as shit, and now knows his days at Kawi are well and truly numbered.

In contrast, Jett had 8 victories and won the SX championship in his rookie season. Add to that he was 20 years old.

I doubt Anderson's faux tough guy helmet grab would bother Jett when he was cashing his millions.

Hey dude, I don't know what you do for work... but I'll pay you CA min wage to come here from Wisconsin for 3 days of work. Sound like a good deal?

These guys have 10 years maybe to get paid, they demand top compensation, or they won't show up. I won't shit on you if you don't come out to clean my patio off.

They both are good at making hype and entertaining. The difference is Haiden is actually a world class athlete, works hard, doesn't do drugs and is at the top of his class in the sport. Joke Paul is a fake athlete that fights YouTubers and Grandpas. The only legit fight he did was against the little Fury bro and he lost. I wouldn't be surprised if he fights Ali's corpse next..

20 year old man*, who learned the hard way through the court of public opinion that getting overwhelmed with frustration and emotion doesn’t justify grabbing someone by the helmet after a race.

Meanwhile, let’s bash the guy still racing near the front of the pack in his 30’s, in a sport where most of the modern greats hung it up by 27/28… are you a fan of the sport, or just a fan of a rider?

Just a side note on that last part… do you think majority of the top 15 450 riders are still racing into their 30’s because they are that dam good. Or… there hasn’t been any major talent move up in the past 5 or so years that’s been a straight up podium threat..?

We had Mcgrath, RC4, CR22, JS259, RV2, RD5, Roczen, Barcia, Tomac. Then it just fizzled..? We got spoilt haha

Did riders pack it up early because they come into the sport, won quick and left?

I think this is a chicken and egg scenario. If a guy is a known quantity, easy enough to work with, and still getting top ten finishes, factories are going to keep signing that guy over the unproven guy unless the other guy is winning 250 championships. So younger 250 guys might be more successful than the Andersons of the world if given those opportunities, but they aren't getting those opportunities as long as Anderson type guys hang around and are signing multi year deals.

Same thing is now happening at 250 level. No room to move up, so instead of taking a 450 deal at a support team you take a factory 250 deal, again..... no room for amateurs on the decent teams unless you're star and you sign 25 guys.

Only way any of it changes is when guys retire or if guys without factory level support consistently beat factory guys, and that is not an easy task even if you are faster if all else is equal.

I think the factories have become very risk averse and conservative.  As you point out they're not taking the risk on unproven new 450 riders and are sticking to old workhorses who occasionally might get a win or the odd podium.  The problem is - as you also point out - they're blocking the entry of new riders - riders who might not be as obviously ready like Jett - but who could start winning with a bit of time, like RV for instance.
Factories need to take more risks if they want more rewards.

While youre only joking. How does a rider in the 250 class influence the 450 results? Deegan has zero effect on their chances at winning.

A rider who does though is Cooper Webb. Based on Paris SX the Lawrence boys are far from guaranteed 1st and 2nd. Would make zero sense for the Lawrence boys to try to manipulate results by blocking riders who are no threat to them winning for various reasons, and not block the guy who has been the biggest threat.

Well Cooper isn’t a threat to Hunter. He’s just flat out better than him.

When those 250 guys can’t win or stay healthy through a six or eight race series they don’t deserve the 450 ride. Strange people bag on Anderson when it is shown he’s still competitive with the top guys in the class

So, let me get this straight…

A dude in his 30s that’s still commanding a top level slot on one of the best factory teams is a “loser”?

A Twenty Year Old Racer that’s caught on camera crying after getting a “Dude! Back the Fuck Off!” straightening out by the previously mentioned 30something racer…that crying-game dude is the tough guy?

You Can Not Make This Shit Up! 😂

Dear Lord, please make A1 happen…QUICKLY…please…?

Was chase sexton that much better than the other top guys in the 250 class at the time? He got an opportunity and came into his own in the 450 class. It doesn't seem like wallowing in the 250 class is good for rider/career development even with injuries, look at AC, Jmart, Justin Cooper got a bum deal when he moved up.

He was a 20-year-old kid who wanted to win more than anything.  Meanwhile a 31-year-old geriatric who doesn't know when to call it a day was holding him up.  Jett's response was pure frustration and emotion.

I actually kind of get it. Imagine it’s just a one of race that doesn’t mean anything. Your focused on supercross. Then HD and A line up with an opportunity to take out a Lawrence to try to prove some weird point at a race that doesn’t matter.
HD and A would be going hard out with a chip on their shoulder. Jett and Hunter would just be cruising around staying healthy and meeting fans.

I agree, I'm racing this weekend because most of the fast guys are at Mini O's.

That makes me a pussy.

That would be a good argument except Jett has been systematically laying wood to everyone on 2 wheels. A pussy he is not.
