It only looks good on the surface my guess is it's slick as a mofo with all the rain lately.

It’s surprisingly good and Actually could use some water. I’d bet this is the last day we will ride it for a while tho. Lots of rain coming next week.

It will be premo until tomorrow morning when all the rain hits. On that subject, anyone else done the hangover scrambles up there on New Year's Day? Holy smokes, one of the funniest and brutal races ever. Some years it's solid ice, some years it's slick mud, other years it's raining so hard that the mud isn't slick any longer and you can actually go pretty good. Fun times.

It's been a few years but I've done several Hangover Scrambles. I always run the ice screws in my tires regardless of the weather it's always like ice.

It looks like it was disked. Does it still count as a grass track if the racing surface doesn’t have grass on it?!?!?!?!

I rode this morning on private property above White Salmon. Several mile hilly GP track. Dirt looks awesome, yes a layer of grease on top!! Still was loads of fun on the YZ144X. There was 6 of us and it did get a bit better...The Great NW and Mudd Season is here

That's what I was thinking. Grass track you make it off and run as is.

Yeah, but what they are running still looks like a lot of fun!!!!!

Just might be a ‘little’ better with waist high grass and some ribbons for track layout. But I suppose you shouldn’t let perfect stand in the way of really, really good!

This was just a practice day. Way quicker to disc out a track layout than ribbon one. Plenty of lines got put in outside the till.

And up here in the PNW the weather is highly unpredictable. Waste of time setting out ribbons when you have no idea what will happen in 3 days. Disc'd it Thursday and rode it today. Tomorrow night rain comes and it's over.

From what I saw Woodland looked good too. We debated last night.

We were debating the same thing.

In the end, we stayed home. I had the ole' honey-do-list, and Kami shaved the dogs.

I'm hoping for atleast one more good weekend before the nonstop rain starts. Fingers crossed!

There's quite a few - Idaho, Washington  and Oregon states both eastern and western areas. Varies from dense woods single-track to wide open desert runs. We don't race offroad, only moto, so I'm a lousy source. I'm sure there are others here that know a lot more.

One more of my boy from Saturday. Sunday was good too, and now it's raining.ShougTurn14

Here are some of the main series that run in the PNW.

AMA West Hare Scrambles - https://westharescrambles.com/

Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association - https://www.omraoffroad.com/

You forgot NORCS, the one that gets at least double the turn out at every round as any of those.
