Oh wait, it isn't a rush. That's why he's on vacation.

You want him to work 365 days a year just so you're entertained?  He just got done bitch slapping every 250 rider in the United States...

I think he’s getting a 125 dialed in for the Big 2-st race @ muddy creek.  Mike Brown will be on a 250 2-st it should b a good 1.

Don’t worry, it’ll probably slow down a bit after his retirement.

To be honest, I’m not really a fan. I don’t follow his social media, I’m not really his audience. As for Americans in the 250 class, I like Kitchen, Hymas and Hampshire. But I’m a motocross fan and Deegan’s talent can’t be denied.

I would like to see him improve his presentation skills. The way he refuses to look at his interviewers on the podium irks me, but that’s my problem.

It is really disappointing as a fan he's not going. Such an epic rider, but I do struggle to be a 'fan' with a lot of the actions/ attitudes over in camp Deegan.

This entire Mxon fiasco is the crowning jewel of their ego. First it's Star not willing to go, then he won't go if Tomac isn't, then it's the wrist surgery.. Next year it'll no doubt be: "I need to get ready for the 450 class".

I understand he's more than entitled to some down time off the bike, but surely if the wrist required immediate attention after SMX to maximise recovery time for A1, he wouldn't be in a boxing ring? 🤷‍♂️

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_quWjTPFM0&ab_channel=TheDeegans

I anticipate his surgery will just so happen to fall on the day off the race or something along those lines.

Probably sounding like a pure hater, but just want to see the guy on track plain and simple. Being a Brit, Mxon is the place it would happen!

Or not.. 😒

Then when the chance came TWICE to go to a different country and win “their” trophies, he backed out.  Say what you want, but this sport is fickle and you squander opportunities that may be the only ones you get. It just takes one injury to derail you. Then maybe we never see him at des nations on a 250. If you’re a fan, you should be disappointed.

… I would advise him to stay home, too. While there’s an argument to be made about “expanding the brand” to the world market by going to the MXoN, the truth is his social media presence is already worldwide. Making fans wait another year (or more) builds the anticipation.

And as for jumping to the 450 class? Nope, I would advise him to rack up as many 250 titles as he can, while he’s hot and his competition is baffled. 2025 SX West, 2025 250 Pro MX, scarf up another $500k at the 2025 SMX… and then defend all those titles in 2026. Go premier class in 2027 with a full case of championship trophies and a fat bank account…. just as he turns 21.

I actually agree, he can only improve his craft, and make more money.

Or, he could do a Travis pastrana- get injured and realise there’s lots (more) money to be earned in other areas than racing. And then he never...

Or, he could do a Travis pastrana- get injured and realise there’s lots (more) money to be earned in other areas than racing.
And then he never becomes 450 champ.

The possibilities are endless. And when it comes to injuries, somewhat out of his control.

FMX has lost his mojo, even Nitro Circus doesn't sell shows out... and sponsors are backing out.

I don't think a single 250 rider would of had anything for him at MXDN. I would've been interested to see how he would've done against all the 450's. Well never know though.

I think Coenen and DeWolfe would have something for him. Don't forget, the Europeans are specialists outdoors, not jacks-of-all-trades like Americans.

I'm pretty sure thats Washougal, but correct me if not. Looks like 2023, and if you snapped that pic then I was standing almost beside you. I recognize the flag because every year Washougal honors war vets its really cool they have their own race. A military vet was carrying that flag around during the weekend, and when Haiden was heading up to the podium he handed it to Haiden and it was cool. It didnt look staged or anything, pretty spontaneous and the crowd erupted.

 Hes a good kid.

I agree. And they have seat time at Matterly, so another advantage.

So again, if I were Haiden’s agent, I’d be quite happy having him miss that possible showdown, especially since it wouldn’t make me any money.

I dont think that's actually true. He probably has his accountant do direct deposit.

If I was Haiden's agent I'd tell him to keep doing what he's doing because there's a long line of fools who keep talking about him while he's cashing in on it all.

As far as Brian goes, "lots of people talk but few of them know", I spent some time around them and you wont find a more dedicated and loving father. He puts family before money, moto, and yes des nations. Sorry. So far hes done well I'd say. He obviously sees something. Good for him to trust his gut.

Before they moved to the east coast, they(The Deegan's) went to my church that I have been going to for over 10 years, I haven't seen them there because I went at a different time than them. First time I discovered who they were was when Brian took the lead pastor of my church on a can am ride at the cali compound.

Good point. He left KTM to ride the powerful Star Yamahas; he’ll no doubt try to go to the team with the fastest 450s.

So which country has the most Des Nations/MXoNs wins?  Asking for a friend.

You don't? Pretty much the only way we would know. He's a monster but it's far from a certainty as the GP guys have been waxing us for years now

In the last 10 years it's been France.

The two last wins for the USA were in 2022 and 2011.

Don't follow them on Instagram but if that's true he put off the race for one week of recovery? Sounds like they're just trying to save their brand don't want to race the euros and get beat just like he didn't want to race RiderD on Minis! Pretty sad because he truly is the fastest 250 Rider we have right now! And thanks Don I knew you would respond🤣
