You've got grit and patriotism in spades, 2 very strong accolades for such an event as MXdN. And recent circumstances dictate that its a PR dream for the 3 riders involved, no matter the result. Solid team, no doubt about it.
That said, I do hope you that your race day is riddled in penalties for failed sound tests, followed by an unrepairable electrical issue prior to gate drop, resulting in a DNS... twice.

The USA team is solid and have a realistic chance but they will need a bit of luck. The same can be said about the Nederlands, France and the Aussies.
As we all know, anything can happen and something will happen......this is gonna be good.
