I think its great that he worked hard and bought himself something to reward the hard work. I noticed that in the video his Mom was very proud of him and talked about how he has a rental property that is paid for in full too.
I think that for Haiden to win a national title that shows he's not like every other 18 year old. I hope that he's smart enough to know how even if he's an amazing driver, that there are other people on the roads and to not go too crazy. The faces he was making with his little brother in the video just looked like they were acting for the video. Trying to get a funny thumbnail or making fun of a reaction type video. His sister is a pro driver and so is his Dad. I'm sure he has seen and heard stories that will teach him not to be a dumbass.
He's not the first young kid to have a fast car. I think that he has good people around him that will keep him from doing something dumb. He bought a rental property before he got a car. Might have been something else his mom talked about too. I did not think I would be a fan of his. But the more I get to see of him and get to know him from videos and interviews. The more I start to like him. I doubt that many people would not have wanted to be living the life he is living at his age.

If you watched the vid you’d see that he and his sis had talked about a goal that they both had since they were like 14 and that was to be able to buy an R8. Well, the kid just won the AMA Outdoor Motocross Championship. If he wants to buy an R8 and put that one in the bucket, good for him. No one cares what you buy with your money, not sure why you care what he does with his. it’s not like he went and bought an old man vehicle like a Cullinan or anything 🤷♂️

There is a difference between defending someone and trying to tear other riders down. There are riders I'm not a fan of, and I don't enter threads about them just say something negative like you do, or to call their fans gay or use some other derogatory remark about one's sexuality like Herr Lich does (if anything screams latent homosexuality or massive insecurities, that does).

Deegan said in the post race interview that he got a ticket in the R8. He said the cop was cool and wrote him for 19mph over. He's a different guy in these interviews. Didn't talk shit once. It's good to see the kid maturing and respecting the other guys around him.
He could have bought a LaFerrari and people here would still give him shit and call the car a stupid hybrid.
