Not that hard, driving for an hour everyday. Sit a desk for a part of the day and have it on in the background. Then washing my bike another hour or so with headphones in.
You have it playing in the background while you drive/work/do house chores/hang out in the garage or lay in bed at night.
I'd much rather read a transcript also . For background while doing things , driving etc. It's got to be music for me. I've never liked listening to people talk . It doesn't hold my attention.
Or if your job requires lots of driving, I drive 20,000-40,000 miles per year depending on jobs. That's plenty of time for podcasts.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
How'd he get the micro plastics out of his balls?
I think that people are making this joke because of the recent Dean Wilson video . Dean jokes saying he never heard of her , when he is talking about Jett and Hunter Lawrence. And I would say that Dean made that joke because of Jett's first podium interview when he was calling Hunter his sister. Back when Jett brought a bag of donuts onto the podium at the Monster Cup.
Its not meant to be an insult the way its being used on here. Its more of an inside joke.

I work by myself for 8-10 hours a day and wear an ear bud. You can only listen to the same songs so many times before they get boring.
We listen to it on the way to and from the track on the weekend. Pretty much a two hr ride everywhere we go
One of the only logical comments here. Like Steve or not he's pretty much top of the pyramid on being plugged in with the sport the riders and what's going on around the moto world
Same here. 10 hour days working alone. I have plenty of time for podcasts are very rarely listen to music anymore.
I'm on the road everyday and go through multiple podcasts. I play them at +1.75-+2.0 speed depending on the cadence of the speaker. I do the same thing with YouTube. There's only so much time in the day and if I'm consuming information the quicker I can get it done the better!
Somewhat off topic of the initial point of the thread, but some have brought up the amount of heat Sexton has been receiving, and I thought it raised an interesting point regarding being elite at a sport, but never quite the best.
Guys that never set themselves up for championship expectations (or MVP in team sports) aren't heavily criticized when they don't win it all. Nobody is badmouthing Justin Cooper's performance - everyone knows he's a solid rider that can compete for a podium with a good start, but nobody expects him to win races in the 450 class. He could perform the exact same as he has in 2024 for the next 7 years and people would chalk it up as a very solid, consistent career (and rightly so).
But when a guy like Sexton shows promise and potential to be the guy, he's heavily ridiculed when he finishes right behind whoever actually is the guy. Same thing in football - QBs like Stafford or Hurts don't get much flack, because everybody expects them to be very good, but never the best. On the other hand, a guy like Josh Allen, who is consistently better than the aforementioned QBs, has a microscope on his performance and members of the media crucify him for losing in the playoffs to Patrick Mahomes, who himself may end up going down as the GOAT.
Sexton is an elite racer. He is indisputably one of the best 450 riders we've seen over the past decade or so. But his prime exists during a crossroads of two other absolute legends of the sport - Eli Tomac, who is already seen as a figurehead of MX/SX success, and Jett, who is this generation's wonderboy and may end up being the GOAT. Time will tell on that, as he has a long ways to go.
Personally, I hope Sexton breaks through and is able to find a place where he can actually beat Jett (and prime Tomac, who apparently may be back) before his own prime is finished. I think a lot of people feel that way, which is why he's under such a watchful eye from the fans. It doesn't help that he seems like a super mental guy who probably feels the weight of the world on his shoulders every time he lines up against Jett.
Hopefully not creepy old GuyB.
Listened to the podcast today.
I sure didn’t get the feeling Matthes was “hating” on Eli. The debate between Matthes and JT was mainly centred on how much Eli improved from Ironman to Charlotte, relative to Chase.
Matthes take was that Eli’s main goal was SMX, so he rode the two nationals and then wicked it up for SMX Rd1, and the track suited his riding style. He was saying that we saw flashes of great rides from Eli in SX, among some average ones, and that one good race at Charlotte isn’t enough to say he’s back.
Live Swap but his pods are boring asf. 😂
So Matthes said AP earned the spot on MXDN and somehow he hates Tomac!!!
What a beat up.
He was saying AP earned his position on the team and beat Tomac in the last 2 Outdoors. Tomac took himself out of the equation anyway.
Rest is BS.
Yes he can go on with crap sometimes but it’s the best weekly moto content around.
Pit Row
I love DV in a bad mood! I've never cared for Steve at all but, when did we get to be such pansies that anyone that has an opinion that's in the least bit critical automatically HATES whomever they comment on? Our society is embarrassing.
Post a reply to: Matthes hate on Tomac!!
