Did anyone else notice in the science of supercross yesterday how they used a two stroke model to depict cross rutting? Could this be an Easter egg of sorts hinting at something to come? If not it seems awfully strange they would choose to put money into modeling a 3d 2stroke and showcasing a bike they don’t even make for the episode when they probably already have 3d models of their 4strokes.

I don’t know why they used a green YZ125.
That’s a YZ turned green.
Pro Taper Yamaha Bar Pad, YZ clamps, Seat bolt cover at the back of the seat, YZ shrouds and side panels.
Nope. Never
Bizarre choice by Kawi. I didn't even notice so good spotting.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
My guess is that they have outsourced the production of that whole segment to some random firm that do ads. And they have had access to a dirtbike model (YZ in this case) and just colored it green.
I like your train of thought.
Well, no.
Its wrong and it sucks, but the two stroke ship has sailed. And sunk. Enjoy what’s left of two stroke life, it’s not gonna last forever..
Some idiot/ dumb ass signed off on the green YZ, that person should be clobbered. Mistakes of that capacity, should not be tolerated.
Top tier special effects. Probably hired the Avatar guys.

It was a hint at a collaboration between Kawi and Yamaha for a new KX125 and 250. Similar to what they did with Suzuki in the mid 2000s for the 4 stroke bikes.
Yup I figured another 125 would get released. Trying to cool the Heat on The cr125 DBP and it’s Brutal pulling Action. The DBP is in its 5th detune configuration. And still where breaking main shafts, exploding sprockets, etc.
Like Ryan Huges said, mx is going towards F1, no privateers making it only kids born in home school compounds. The 125 class will financially save mx by giving average working class folks a chance at the dream. Honestly the 125 class is what could save the sport and the manufactureres.(spelling?
Think about it, 125 PRO class in the schedule.
It’s crazy that where the only country with out a 125 major series. The UK and French , Holland, Italy, etc. I watched a few rounds of the 125 French series on yt . Some guy filmed his friends & others racing , it was entertaining & real cool , funny. Even tho my French is rusty. Wi. Has dozens of small abandoned ski hills . A 10-14 round series would b perfect.
Admit how exicting the 65 class was, and imagine a full gate of 125 pros.
Hey DC, you havent posted here in a while but, would a full gate of 125 pros get your heart pounding?
Pit Row
It's not going to happen, AMA Pro racing is controlled by the manufacturers, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Triump (Ducati when they start competing) don't have 125s, they will not support it.
I don’t understand 65 racing there. The 125 class is usually the biggest class locally. Best race I saw all yr was Matty B,s Tomahawk 125 LL regional. A ski hill 125 only series , that would be the biggest series ever.
Yes, but sadly the 125 class as much as they despise it could actually save them. Remember what was the backbone of the sport of mx, an afordable motorsports sport for the rest of us. When you abandon this, you are finished.
I was talking about the 65 class last weekend, more entertaining than the 450 class.
125s require more skill to ride, creating larger differences in lap times between riders, lap times and speeds would be slower for less skilled riders, making the sport safer for less skilled riders.
Unfortunately riders have voted with their wallets by buying 250f's, they are easier to ride than 125s, 250fs are likely to be replaced by electric, which are even easier to ride. People are lazy!
Available seats and pro payouts would change that.
The only way to make the KX125 come back, put your money where your mouth is. Kawasaki is one company that is aware of the need, but, they do need to see solid demand. They can't just develop if people are not actually buying, just dreaming. Dirt bikes are such a small part of the industry, but, Kawasaki are aware of the interest.
Money is the only thing that gets his heart pounding.
I didn’t see it but I believe it. 450,s or 4-st just hv boring racing action. Even if there is a battle like Chase & Eli 2 yrs ago. The North American ski hill 125 series could easily b the biggest Mx event in the world. North because it’s north & n of gb . Crandon truck race has been racing for 55 yrs. They get like 50-100k true race fans. You can go back to 1989 & hv a competitive 125 if your on a cr. But aprox 97 to now all the 125,s r pretty good. Parked in a dock lastnight at a new sporting goods store. Unloaded b4 6.30
Honda told DC "No" and we all know that Honda is his daddy. 😉

Only if they bring it back with the fender plates.....otherwise....fail.
