What about it? Eli is the one who took hhimself out of the selection process. Was there even one pperson who said Eli doesnt have a higher ceiling than AP?

I've seen this post a couple of times. There was so much backlash and noise from idiots on vital and the media (Matthes) on how AP deserves it more becasue he raced all season and that he beat Tomac in those outdoord motos. Tomac just backed out because all the Matthes drama. Sucks becasue if Tomac goes, Deegan goes. So thanks to Matthes and vital for deluding the MXDN team.

I highly doubt Eli chose not to go because matthes said he shouldn’t 

Tomac didn't go because Star wanted paid to go.

Eli 2015 was a beatdown. But this was impressive. If AP is hurt, I hope they can move Eli in.

I was just as happy to see him start pulling Jett back in in moto 2. I think 2 more laps and we would have a different story today. 

In the least Jett knows Eli is an animal. His showing today proves it. He said he wanted to battle Eli but I don’t think he wants Eli all year long. 

Sexton took the beat down, that's gotta hurt the guys confidence .

This did not age well 

2 more laps and if Eli was on a traditional tire instead of a scoop he would have been able to get that forward drive off the table for that “quad” or as I called it, “big rhythm jump”. I think that was the real difference maker between him & Jett. Great fight from both of them. The next two races should be awesome 

Pulp has had it out against tomac all year. Constantly saying he can’t do it anymore due to his age. The dude was crushing it prior to his injury 8months prior. Really think his age caught up to him that quickly lol. Steve is a joke. His takes on Deegs are so bad as well…stop being subjective and be objective. He has had it against star since they denied him from riding the bike… 

So Eli get beat straight up at the last outdoors, won one moto yesterday and now he is a title contender again?.

What i recall Matthes has said that Eli can win a moto or race again but his title days are over, and until he is proven wrong he is right.

Real money is a good motivator for a family man,...he said he had a great time out there and it showed

Tomac has already surpassed AP's ceiling on his 4th ride back. AP is so start dependent. He earned his spot, but I will say it over and over and over again, he's the weak link. Always will be on the big stage.

Pulp tree hugger here….so Steve is right because Eli was on/off after a gnarly injury? 

Eli was good in Indiana and even better for 2 motos in Charlotte…I’m willing to bet you don’t think we will be a 7th place guy next weekend lol 

Eli has done what Steve said he will do so far so what is the problem?.

People make it sound like he will stack up race wins and titles again after one moto win that lasted just a whole moto until he got beat again.

Before his injury he had a title fight with Chase outdoors that came down to the last moto, not exactly a dominant performance on Eli’s side, then he were in a close title fight with Webb and Sexton for the SX title he lost due to the injury.

His riding was nothing spectacular (in Eli terms) the last two titles he were in the hunt for, after that he got injured, grew older and a new star has risen to the top while Tomac were gone.

I don’t get what it is to get upset about that Eli probably have passed his prime but still will win a race or two now and then?.
