Hopefully this keeps them from ripping the track deep.

Even better would be a farewell podium for Phil.  He did it in 2018 in the rain

I'm a Mason contractor so unfortunately I am pretty much married to the weather and weather forecasts... I use Weather Underground.  They are showing 80-90% chance of heavy rain all day Friday and Saturday.  Seems like some of the other weather sites are not taking into contention the rain from Hurricane Debby yet and some are.  Hopefully WU is wrong

That wasn't rain, that was Gods bladder overflowing from a hard night out. That day was unreal.

If it does rain, hopefully it's not bad enough that they decide to bypass Screw U.

It's OK.  I saw some photos on the Unadilla FB site earlier today.  They've got a bunch of loads of sand they're working in, they're already watering, and the track is already ripped.🙄. It should handle rain just as well as any other track on the circuit now since the dirt is the same.
Oh, and they've made sure theres not a blade of grass anywhere because that stuff is evil.

Good looking rides, guys.

These take me back to my 86 VFR750F and that era... but I don't think I'd want to hop on a Gixxer nowadays; they probably qualify as something from the Spanish Inquisition at my age. I remember the first time I got on one - I was wondering why they had the clip-ons coming out of the front axle and how I was going to get my knees out of my ears. 😁 They put so much weight on my wrists it felt like I was doing a handstand the whole time I was on it.

Are you talking about the track, or the parking up on the hill. 😶

Yes…they are not very comfortable for old aching joints…I only ride it a few times a year…its still a very fun bike to ride, and still plenty fast enough for me…

Truth ….should probably pick up an adventure bike soon, I”m good for about an hr, then everything starts to hurt😂
