If nothing changes and all the rumors come out and all futere star riders go to america .....vialle is al ready in america prado is going....the coenen brothers and kay de wolf and maybe a few others.... also have plans to go........now they still have herlings....gasjer and febre hopefully they will race for a few more years but if they stop ..... then the world championship will be a joke

MXGP was in trouble when Joel Robert retired . . . and Mikkola, then DeCoster retired . . . all was lost it seemed except when Malherbe, then Thorpe, and Jobe filled the championship throne.
Remember a kid named Stephen Everts who surpassed all mxgp champions before him, including his father!
There will always be a new generation of MXGP champions ready to fill the void of past champions to keep the world title chase relevant.
In the 70s no one went to america in the 80s jmb ...that european riders go to amerca is from the last years..in the 70s also one pierre karsmakers.........
Not so long ago they didn't need european riders in america when there was plenty of talent that has also changed...

There's an argument that MXGP as is right now should be allowed to die, in order for a series that looks to grow the sport not milk it for all its possible worth to replace it... Suffice to say, if I was a rider in MXGP right now or even a team, I'm not sure I'd want to stay either.

every year its the same thing, americans start rumors about all the good euro racers going to america.....on the end its like one racer every couple of years going after the supercross challenge.....
if all those rumors were to be true, euros would take over america and their riders would go to unemployment, there is just so many factory rides there.......and if there is a good thing about youth system in europe, is the constant renewal of talent coming from the emx series....
dont worry, we will be fine for the near future atleast....every year "those" americans, that have that "only in america" agenda, will be starting those rumors because thats how they recognize the talent those euro kids have.......

From what I am seeing on the MXGP replays those top MX2 guys can't keep off the ground. I am not sure that is going to work in the US.

Well, it’s like this…over here in the U.S. …some examples…
HRC Honda 2 450 & 2 250
Monster Kawasaki 2 450
Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki 4 250
Star Yamaha 3 450 & 4-5 250
Red Bull KTM 2 450 & 1-2 250
Rockstar Husqvarna 2 450 & 1-2 250
Red Bull GasGas 1 450 & 2-250
Triumph 4 250 & 2 450 by 2026
HEP Suzuki 3 450
Ducati in 2025-26….
In addition to all of that we’ve got several support teams like Ferrandis at Phoenix Racing or FirePower Honda…etc.
There’s A LOT of opportunity over here and sometimes the smart play for the teams, well…the best rider available might come from outside the U.S.A. …as shown with the recent signing of Prado to Monster Kawasaki.
There are plenty of opportunities over here…for good riders to make really good money. That’s all there is to it.

Man you make up some wild shit. Prado has already signed his US contract. Lucas Mirtl (Aussie) confirmed the Coenens are coming to America no later than '26. Kay de Wolf and Thibault Benistant have both said in their own words they are trying to get to the US. De Wolf famously said "80 percent of the paddock" wants to race in the US. What on earth would lead you to believe these are unfounded rumors made up by Americans?
There are only so many seats, though, so in that regard you are correct "80 percent" of the paddock will not be coming to the US.

Riders have talked for years about going to the US, but after their first mxgp title many seems to get stuck.
The Mx2 riders are better at leaving the series but the GP riders must earn good enough money from the brand as soon as they get a title.
The only rider in modern days to do that is Prado, but as mentioned earlier both Herlings and Gajser talked about it for years but never went.
So until the riders land on US soil, i would take the talk about it with a grain of salt.
The problem for Herlings and Gajser is that generation of US talent was so deep it would have been tough for them. Prado only has to deal with Sexton, the Lawrences and eventually Deegan.
