 I spent a career in Tech... And know folks that worked at CrowdStrike. Talk about a Quality Assurance failure. Software updates should be tested before being pushed out to customers. Yes, you can't/won't catch everything. But this issue - computers shutting down - bluescreen - it's a flaw that would have shown up in basic testing. YIKES!

It’s been a stressful day. I had a 5:25am flight from Tampa connecting through Atlanta and onto Portland. Should’ve landed in Portland at 10:45am. So I was up at 3:30am eastern time and got to my gate to find out what happened with everything. Delta couldn’t get me to Portland until 9:30am Saturday morning (which obviously doesn’t work for me) and that was to go to LAX tonight and spend the night there and then Portland Saturday morning. I told them no. So I booked a separate southwest flight at 2:00pm from Tampa connecting through Denver and getting to Portland at 7:20pm tonight. But there was a 9am southwest flight to Denver I got onto through standby and then I just got on another standby from Denver to Portland. So thankfully I’m making it there by 3pm. But it’s been a stressful long day already as if the travel from Florida to Portland wasn’t enough haha. But thankful I’m making it. Looks like a lot of guys are stuck all around different places. Hope everyone makes it. That’s just my story of the day haha

Good for deegs making it happen. But, you would think the team, as much as they are spending would have just put the money up and put everyone on that jet. I may be wrong but we far as I know they have flights paid for and they all leave the same place same time for every other race for the most part. Sounds like a bad deal on stars part. So what’s a win bonus then?100k? For him though at the end of the day he’s going to make it back this weekend and losing a whole weekends points is huge no matter how far he is up. 

One cool thing that may happen is what everyone hates. The privateers have all been out there either for PIR or the guys driving will be there so it’s be nice to see a mix up place 10-20. 

Also shows how low budget our sport is. You would think like most other sports our top guys would fly private. I thought it was cool when KR and AC and some other guys split a PJ BEFORE. Would be super cool if the top 3-5 guys got along and flew together private but we know the mind games at that level.
