Not many events that last all day that cost less. Moto being the the sport we love makes it an easier decision.

...I remember not too long ago that gas was under a dollar a gallon.  It's pointless to pine about the good old days.

The skyrocketing costs for business insurance and special event coverage is one of 1000 things that make a 20 dollar admission ticket impossible.

I own and run 4 businesses, and overhead costs have increased by about 60 to 65  percent over the last 18 months for the same products and services.  Blame greedy profit takers in Corporate America for price gouging.

Just curious - What were the admission prices at Millville and Red Bud this year?  Those races seemed to have more fans there than I can ever remember...

I honestly don’t mind paying the ticket prices. Paid more for dumber things. I’m staying home to watch on the couch because of the douchebags with the train horns.

If I remember correctly it was $65 @ the gate last year (no line and right next to entrance) so why feed the vampires?

Not sure if all races do it, but see if there’s any local dealership partners that sell tickets. I did that for High Point and it cost me $115 for 3 tickets that would have been almost $190 if I bought them online/at the gate.

you haven’t noticed the rampant inflation the past 3.5 years? You’re surprised the costs have gone up … seriously?

I paid $90 at millvillle for the Friday through Sunday ticket.  I believe the single day was $70 or $75

I had a look at taking my son to his first MXoN in England. Prices are $200 for the weekend for and adult or $155 for the Sunday. Paddock access is on top. At least kids under 12 are free. Insane

Good points to ponder here. Corporate is the blame here ultimately.

Redbud was $85 but didn’t have to pay for parking. Last year was $65 with $20 parking. So now they are making even more money if you have 4 friends in a truck like we did

Not everyone is greedy. You guys can buy a Nelson Custom Home and it will appraise for more than you paid. Every time.

Still seems very cheap to me.

Why no pit passes boggles the mind though....

My friend purchased tickets in advance online for Millville, paid $79.22 and waited in line for 10 min. I paid $70 at the gate and walked right in. Cash is king

I'm at the beach right now...my in-laws took my kid's (3 and 5) to see the new Minion movie. They spent $85 for 2 adults, 2 kids, popcorn, 2 kid's drinks, a large soda, 1 box of candy and 2 hotdogs.

I gotta say, i thought it would have been a lot more, especially at the beach. It wasn't even a matene.

200k in income a year is the 100k from just 5 years ago. Sad but true.
