Nope.
I voiced the same sentiment on more than one occasion and it became apparent I wasn't going to win a popularity contest... but I stand by it: ugly is ugly and those are... fugly.
Maybe the restyling folks can come to the rescue. I'd hate to spend my hard earned money on one and then have to look at that every time I went out to the garage. Kind of like having a new girlfriend with a fitness model body and the face of Danny Trejo... with a rash... and bad teeth... and a hairy mole on her nose... and a hairlip.

Personally all I think is that it needs a proper set of graphics for it to look great. It looked funky to me at first but it’s already starting to grow on me each time I see it.
Jetts probably Honda's #1 guy on 2 wheels including MotoGP. He's payed a lot by Honda to be positive about the product.

Well, if it grew on me I'd find a sharp object... and quickly.
Much like the car manufacturers all seem to agree on a common design between them, it looks like the bike manufacturers are incorporating these slab-sided, minimal features designs. They're getting so flat-sided they look like a suitcase. I thought Husky was looking ugly when they started down this road but it's infecting all of them and producing varying degrees of boring, flat, simplistic styles that all have one thing in common: world-class fugly.
And just like no amount of warpaint will make Roseanne Barr look good, graphics are just lipstick on these pigs.
The good news is replacment shrouds are cheap - just grab a dustpan from Walmart or maybe a cat litter scoop if you need them vented.

I really like it. The shroud kinda reminds me of a Viking hatchet.
I felt the same way at first but its grown on me a bit. That being said I wish more brands would do what ktm did from like 2015 to 2022 and instead of just dump everything and create a whole new bike every 5 years, instead just make steady slight tweaks and upgrades over time. Nip a little here, cut a little there, lighten a little bit over there. The 2022 ktm looks very similar to the 2015 ktm but it just looks like the finished product of years of refinement of that bike, and thats exactly what it was. The last gen honda was in my opinion probably one of the sexiest bikes of all time and I think they could have kept refining on that look and it still would have been fresh and new. Come to think of it yamaha has basically done exactly what I’m saying also, the new yamaha is new but its clearly a refinement of the previous gen bike into something thats just even more sleek. I wish honda did that with the last gen bike.

I like the shrouds, my first thoughts is they are going retro. Google 1984 cr250 and you may see some resemblence
