In a GP series? Desalle, Philippearts, Nagl, Pourcel, Ramon, De Dycker and more could all hang. Sounds like Grant doesn't have a clue about the World GP series... see the French riders?! maybe he should race it and educate himself to the nationalities of the all fast riders that are as good as him - most of them aren't french in MX1...

Aside from a national title the biggest individual race he could win would be the US GP,

Grant is a big contender for the outdoors though, his speed isn't a question, he has so much natural talent and his attitude seems right- the outdoors are going to be fantastic this year in both classes. Can't wait to Hangtown.

Not a huge JG fan...not a hater either (I just don't like all the tats, and metal mulisha attitude and all that)...but I like the interview...

I did take issue with what he said about glen helen....he wants to keep it because of "history", and then says to get rid of Unidilla???? Really? Unadilla has the most history on the circuit...That was just a stupid statement....but otherwise, it was fun to watch. I just hope he can back it up....

I think you misunderstood what he was saying. He was saying that Unadilla is as much a piece of MX history as Glen Helen so if you're going to get rid of one you should get rid of the other.

It was clearly facetious, but I do agree with you...a little funny logic...

he is a supercool guy in person, still really enjoys riding besides mx/sx. i get tired of dungeys boring interviews, there always the same. he wasnt even that excited when he wins or the championship. do you guys remember how excited Grant was when he won opening night last year

He whips it awesome, never said he didnt. Him and stewart probably have the sickest out there, pertaining to mx.


After he proclaimed he had the best in motocross, he said he'd give it to potter or renner for fmx. So, hes giving two of his freestyle buddies credit and doesnt pick an outright best, but thinks he is the best at moto whips and cant even give anyone else credit?

It sounds like JG was referring to the Alessi segment on the Moto show.....otherwise known as "Inside the Outdoors" on Fuel or "Great Outdoors" DVD.

This was a reply from Josh Grant on the Vurbmoto website:
