With less then a month until the ama out door national motocross championships commence more professional racers were in attendance today at rem /glen helen racing . those ranked national riders included former world champion tyla ratrey ,tommy searle ,and brett metcalf .Both 250/450 pros line up an take off on the same gate which allows for some very good racing .Mike won the opening moto from start to finish with just under a 10 second lead . The second moto didn't go as well for mike who lead until the 21 minute mark, but a problem slowed his pace and also caused a small crash (with 2 laps to go) which gave metcalf the win in moto 2.

we are concerned about a 30 day grand prix rule where riders are not aloud to ride a grand prix track 30 days before a race . rem racing is on another track in side the glen helen facilty ...we are not sure if we can get in trouble for this .
FIRST MOTO WINNER : Mike #800 lead the first moto from start to finish ending the moto with just under a ten second lead .
STARTS : mikes starts seem to be good on the #800 ktm
hopefully you save some coin from racing because you home schooled motocrossers wont have many career choices after racing.
...a problem slowed his pace which gave metcalf the win in moto 2. Oh and by the way, that same problem caused him to crash
Metty did not get a poor start. Mike got the holeshot and Metcalfe was right there. Mike pulled some time on him, but Metcalfe reeled him in and passed him about 2/3 into the moto. They both looked fast, but it's hard to compare and I had never seen the REM track before.
I've got a few photos of the start I'll post when I get a chance.
Mike seems like a good guy to me; cares about the fans and loves to race. Tony seemed friendly and dedicated to the task at hand. Danielle, same thing. She had the stop watch and the camera...another guy had a video camera.
Pit Row
A) full of facts
I dont any of those ever at the alessi newsletter.
Learn to speak English before you come in here and dog the Alessi's...Tony is a good guy and Mike was owning the Nationals before he got hurt.
