It’s super cool watching Chad coach his kids. His approach to it is completely different from other mini dads. Seen kiah qualified for Loretta’s. Think Tate has one more regional this weekend. Seems to have the speed but isn’t a good starter
Yeah I watched their vlogs from the first 2 regionals too. Tate raced 4 classes I believe at both of them. It does look like he gets terrible starts, seems afraid to hold it on into the corner.
Tbh, those 85 kids are just fast lol. I've always said this but unless you race on a national level you do not realize how fast the kid that's getting dead last in any class at Lorettas is.
He’s just a little late to the game, kind of like a Hayes Edwards. This upcoming Regional will be his best shot, most of the top kids have qualified already.
Him and Kiah need to do a bunch of practice starts to see how he compares to kiah and what tate needs to work on that Kiah does to get the starts.
Pace is my favorite Reed.
Starts are all about confidence. Once he believes he can run with the top kids, he will start getting holeshots, in my opinion. Newer kids tend to let the fast kids go on the start, but that will change with confidence.
I wonder why the youngest one doesn’t race.

Been awhile since this thread was commented on.. dude is getting seriously fast. Just switched to Yamahas and he looks wayyy more comfy on that yz250f. Excited to see how he does at LL this year
Haven't watched any videos props to the kid getting faster but he's got to get to Loretta's first he raced last year as an alternate which I thought was a mistake you should earn your way because now it means he has to go up to the b class would have liked to see him take the long route and run the 125.
If he was as fast as you think he is Chad would not have to speed up the video of him riding.

Yeah but that's one class usually you go for two to get your six motos anything can happen at Loretta's and The Limited classes still pretty stacked with Talent!
Watch Pace style he is a natural over the bars , even on his Surong (or whatever they're called). he has style for days..
