If it was a real mudder...the bikes would sink to the center of the earth at that place.Silly. If memory serves...where the track is located is where the street sweepers used to dump.

Well if they build up the track the same way they did last year it'll be some real stinky mud.

I was there but didn't notice.  Hell, I'm not sure I'd have noticed if I'd have caught roost in my mouth.BlushWoohoo

If it had been 90 degrees last year you definitely would have noticed.  Luckily it was overcast and cool.

Plowboy and I am in Kansas, 90 is a mild morning for usCool Throw in the 90 % humidity and it's just blissful.

I was attempting to talk my wife into flying in for Thunder Valley. Rain just made it harder to convince her this will be fun.

I wasn't able to make it last year, but it was toasty 2 years ago...  VERY noticeable.

I've got a/c in my garage (where I spend most of my time) but I've never turned it on.  When you walk outside it's like gettin' hit in the face with a shovel.  Pinch

Mondays heat index was 107.  With a dew point of 77. You could cut the air with a knife

I lived in East Texas during high school.  Near Lake O' the Pines.  Heat, humidity, ticks and skeeters in biblical proportions.Huh

Here is what worries me about Thunder Valley.  They rip it really deep…so if they get much rain the ruts get very deep.  The downhill on the south side of the track, and the speeds these guys ride, could get brutal….as well as pretty much every turn.  I think they must use this to rip that track.  I hope I am wrong but….

Dallas is an anomaly weather wise. You guys get shit weather in the summer and shit weather in the winter. 😉

Accu shows the rain starting around 5pm...  Race is over.  If all goes well, it will be a great race day with a bit of cloud cover to slow the sun down and maybe a few sprinkles.  Might still be pretty warm though for moto 2's.  Wish I was there, should be back for next year though.

That picture gets my blood pumping. Nothing beats showing up Friday to a freshly prepped national track.

Drove by Thunder Valley when we were in Colorado last year on the way to ride motos at Rampart Range, love to get out there for a race one year.

To speak to the Colorado weather, we were riding in the sun then 20 minutes later at the top of one of the trails we were huddled in the woods with our helmets on getting hailed on then the sun was back out 20 minutes later haha.

We need to see more Jett in the mud.  Seems to be his weakest point.  For a guy who looks like he rides sand so we’ll he’s not good in mud.

When we do get a proper mudder this year, I hope Phil Nicoletti is still near the front after the first turn 😂
