"Legendary rider Ken Roczen proved the RM-Z450 remains the champion’s choice. The RM-Z450’s sleek, race-ready appearance, strong engine, and nimble chassis provide the effective power and precise handling required to continue Suzuki’s race-winning legacy. It is no surprise Roczen finished the just-concluded AMA Supercross season tied for third in the championship with an event win and multiple podium finishes."

Breaking news: Someone at Suzuki is actually aware thet Roczen has been racing on their bike.

Laughing

There is at least an effort from Suzuki USA with the RM army edition, in other countries there is absolutely nothing when you purchase an RMZ.

If you want to buy a new motorcycle, just buy other brand.

And if Suzuki do something in the future, give it a try.

Riding others brands is pretty interesting.

As loyal to the brand as we are, We are not married to Suzuki !

Just got a brand new '23 RMZ 450 after spending the last 3 years on a Husky TC250 smoker. Rode a buddies '23 CRF450 and anothers '22 YZ450. Wanted to go back to a 4 stroke 450, and found a smoking deal on the Suzuki. Rides great, easy to kick, looks fantastic. Every buddy that has ridden it at the track has liked where the power is, and the delivery. For all the BFRC hate, it hasnt done anything silly in 5 rides so far. Set sag, played wirh the screws and clickers and I'm super happy with it so far!

Spend the $600 bucks for the KYB shock, it's worth it.  The KYB shock also makes a big difference on getting the fork to work better   I made the swap and had JBI set me up with their pro set up on the fork, and its night and day better.

Of course that puts me at $1500 more into the bike, but well worth it.

I havent had the BFRC shock do anything wierd, but the fork working even better wouldnt hurt. This KYB shock option you speak of - you mean picking up a used shock off an RMZ 250? Just find a used one?

If you can find one, but you can buy a new one for $600.  I think they have gone up in price since the word got out.  I also have the spring off of my BFRC on my KYB, its a tad bit stiffer.

If its a straight bolt on affair, seems like a cheap enough test to perform! Partzilla - $550, in stock...

Enzo did the suspension on my 20. It handles amazing. I haven’t had the BFRC do anything funky or weird. I actually really like the shock. It’s been great everywhere I’ve ridden.

It's a straight swap, got mine before last season on partzilla, and am very happy with that choice!

Why did I still optimistically open this expecting a bike update 😂

Oh well, at least they're still reliable and still look badass.

I bought a leftover 2022 450 like you, love the bike. I did the PC link and race tech springs front and rear for my weight. set the sag. I feel the same way about BFRC shock. I did find a really good deal on new RMZ250 shock but I haven't installed it yet. Great bike for the money

What are you waiting for!  It really settles the bike down with KYB shock.  I guarantee that you will notice the difference between the BFRC and the KYB.

Ktm has to dump a shit ton of current product first. They don't have funds needed for fat rebates and the dealers are already loaded down with bikes. They dug a deep hole.

KTM can go back to making models from 6yrs ago and still be more advanced than the 2025 RMZ450.

I know I’m late here, but I am in a similar situation…. I had revalve done and I like the bike. Coming from a Yamaha it definitely feels different. I cannot find info on adjusting the clickers in the BFRC. Any of yall care to share a link?

Ditch it and buy a KYB shock from the RMZ 250, it is night and day better w that shock.

Both received major reconfiguration in 18&19.

Wondering being Suzuki is releasing a whole new DRZ for 25, is the RMZ later this year for 26?

DRZ update was required to meet new Euro emissions standards effective for 2025. So probably no change to the competition-only RMZ based on that one.

New frame, new forks, new swingarm, engine changes, new shock (that sucks), new plastic fender to fender, and a custom mapping app.

Yes, just minor changes.

And all for the low MSRP of $5999!  I heard that from a guy, who knows a guy that used to work in a Suzuki dealership in 1999, stamp it!  Ohh wait, I thought you were talking about the 2028 model.

Never mind.
