Jett was riding at 100% when Sexton was behind him, that was all the speed he had. The idea that Jett wasn't at 100% with Sexton so close is ridiculous, If he could have dropped Sexton he would have. He wasn't managing a lead, he was doing everything he could to keep Sexton behind him. With that being said, it appears all Jett needs to do is stay mistake free and he will always beat Sexton due to Sexton's mistakes. Does Jett ever make a mistake? Jett is so good he could end up going 22-0 again.

In May...yeah, no....by August, wait, wtf...he just may do it. No Jett "The Neck" fan, but hard to argue he isn't the best right now. Has to be a real downer going for 2nd every week.
I think that 2nd moto was the hardest we've seen Jett push on a 450. It's going to be an interesting season.
I know I just keep repeating myself but Jett's outdoor starts are incredible. I'd love to see some stats on the percentage of his 450 mx starts. I'd bet 80-90% of them are in the top 5. How do you beat that? Imagine if Tomac had Jett's starting ability his whole career

Granted Huntah probably isn’t going to punt him so that’s nice to know but neither is Chase, he generally doesn’t ride that way, especially with someone he obviously respects
I used to appreciate how cocky and arrogant mc was in his day, if Jett say anything remotely confident the mob goes after him. Would be amazing to see the reaction if he had mc’s attitude.
Hard to find positions at the actual holeshot line, but if you look at positions at the end of lap one, from 24 motos so far, his stats are:
1st - 20 times
2nd - twice
4th - once
6th - once
96% in the top five at the end of lap one, and 83% in first place.
Not going to happen. Both Chase and Hunter will get a dub. I will admit, Hunter is doing better than I expected now that he’s healthy.
Sexton had nothing left in the tank, he was going as fast as he could possibly go thats why he ended up off the track out of control. As soon as Chase actually gets around him (if that ever even happens) he's crashing out cause he cannot sustain Jetts pace.

I don't think some people understand what an incredible feat 73 sx wins is. Jett, as good as he is, has a long ways to go. He'd basically have to have 9 wins for the next 7 seasons.
McGrath's record is one of the most incredible records in our sport, and demands respect.

If you attend the races, Jett gets some of the loudest cheers of support. The Hunter brothers are well liked in America.
I doubt that it will happen, BUT it’s the one i want him to beat just out of MC’s arrogance.
I really liked MC back in the days but after his Gypsy appearence he just sounded like a grumpy old man and i had higher thougts of him than that.
Jett literally is unbeatable in 450’s. Record so far says that.

Watching the 2nd moto replay right now.
Going back to yesterday's F1 race, or most any F1 race, if you can out accelerate the car/bike behind you on turn exit, you become very difficult to pass.
We saw that yesterday with Jett.
And, a great quote was mentioned in the F1 broadcast.

In the 16 outdoor motos they’ve lined up together, Chase has spent 188 laps in second place behind Jett and is yet to make a pass, and barely showed him a wheel once.

I agree with this, my only point being Jett was riding at 100% up until Sexton's inevitable mistake. He wasn't "managing a lead", the lead was under 1 second at times. That was as fast as Jett was capable of riding, which of course is faster than anyone else.

I don't know man I heard one of his haters say he wishes Jett breaks his neck already so it can "all be over". Wild that people say things like that.
