For me the prestige would be to beat the best riders regarding speed, not the ones that get payed the most.

But if i could get payed three to four times more doing the same job in another country i would take it to, but i would not call it prestigious.

And the reason Vialle left the GP’s were to extend his 250 carrer and not have to be forced to move up to the 450’s

Next year Prado will be racing Jett in the US. If those aren't the "best riders regarding speed" I'm not sure what metric you're using.

It's strange how the Aussies claim the Euros as their own and vice versa, like a continental alliance against the US. This particular Aussie claims the US system is broken and the Euros are going to take over and uses two Aussies as part of his reasoning. Sheesh.

Name some up and coming US juniors not named Deegan?

We are seeing the product of our amateurs bred through facilities that ride the same tracks over and over and over and over again. Hard to get better and beat guys that have tons of experience in some of the deepest sand to some of the hardest, shittiest and beat tracks you could possibly ride.

2x time MX2 champion vs rookie straight out if AMA amateur system.

We have tons of respect for Euros and love it when they come over. I don't get why yall are constantly on here talking shit.

Jett and Hunter raced in Europe for years and learnt their craft there under Harry Everts and Kennys Roczens dad hence why I included them.

Yes they rode juniors in Aus and worked with Greg Moss on technique!

The trend shows 2 things. First that the money and marketing of the US series make them very desirable. Also, and somewhat worrisome, the near total inability of the US amateur scene to produce top flight riders (Haiden Deegan excepted).  KDW, the Coenens, Langengfelder, Adamo and Everts are all under 20. Benistant is 21. If they all came here they'd all displace Americans on top flight teams. What's that say about our amateur series?

Finally keep in mind that some of this might be posturing in contract negotiations to increase their value in Europe.

I get why some are saying it’s a shame to lose all these riders in the GP’s, but I’m personally stoked Kay is probably going over. Would be cool to see a Dutch guy racing the AMA.

If he does end up winning a main he will be the first Dutch guy to do so since the first person that ever won a Supercross main event.

Justin Cooper and Sexton is our hope for the 2-3 years. After that I see Deegan and Drew Adams in the wings.

If Forkner can stop crashing, there is 0 denying his speed and ability to win.

Ju Ju Beaumer had serious raw speed as a pure rookie and definitely is just as talented (if not more so) that Deegan - he will develop and challenge for Championships.  Dax Bennick also has loads of potential.  I think its too early to know what Drew Adams will bring once he takes the step up - looked great as an amateur, but let's see how he does when he has to fight week in and week out with guys just as talented.

where are the rides for these euros?  i cant see the KTM group taking all 3 into the 6 spots they have. (2 on each brand) ,

Daniel Blair is ramping up the KTM amateur feeder system, will the euros coming over just derail that ?

The sport is in a weird spot right now. The current 450 guys are basically getting to write their own retirement plan because there's almost no American talent moving up to push them out. Honestly, aside from Sexton and J Coop, whose the newest top 450 American rider? Cooper Webb in 2017? Jesus...

On the other hand, Europe is still producing top level talent, but InFront seems to be bleeding the GPs dry. I think they see the success that Ferrandis and Vialle are having over here, and want to have a go at it themselves.

Apparently Coenens are HRC 250 rumour!!

KTM group or Mitch Kay de Wolf

Kay de wolf still has a year on his contract to go.

Lucas Mirtl is Coenens manager as well as Jett, Hunter and Jo…

Alpinestars, HRC, Redbull at a guess..

Correct, what happens when Barcia, Tomac, Anderson, Webb and Kenny retire.

So the only evidence of Europeans taking over is some Aussies racing in the US? Sounds pathetic

No it's not strange, we have all been programmed by you Yanks.

For over 50 years of MXDN you have portrayed it as " USA verses the rest of the world ", blame yourselves.

Its not a USA vs the world,

I was trying to point out that the euros have a far better training and feeder system.

US puts there up and coming riders into training facilities where they dont know how to race and dice for position. Only ride manicured tracks and race 5 times a year.

One Australian phenom. Great. But I don't see any Aussies on here talking shit or claiming a take over of anything.

Just a bunch of insecure Euros trying to stay relevant.

The only 250 rider that can move up and make a impact is deegan the rest will be doing less than justin cooper. Guys like anderson, barcia, roczen, webb ,stewart , plessinger and the rest of the top 10 wont be pushed out for a long time they can still get that bag.

I think Hymas has the top gear to match anyone. Whether he can put it together with all the other needed tools, I don't know

I don’t see Sasha Coenen going stateside he’s to much of a risk. I think he’s fallen in every moto this year. Lots of laps led but then drops back to around 5th all the time.

Lucas Mirtl manages them and ML has mentioned or Lewis that they are coming,

Maybe 25 but 100% 26

Was a rumour on here last week of HRC

Think Deegan will have some growing pains ie like Barcia.

Revs the bike too much, hence why he has been riding with Kenny trying to smooth out

If your future hopes of redemption are pinned on Deegan, well I think that answers the question….

However this is nothing more than a pissing match. Forget your patriotism, forget nationality, the GP scene currently produces better riders. Full stop.

But international riders will continue to to want to go to the states to race SX just like they always have. AMA SX is the most prestigious moto championship. Full stop.

It’s okay to admit those across the pond currently have the upper hand talent wise. This has happened before, it goes in a cycle. Hopefully there’s some American kids sitting somewhere taking notice and using it as fuel to drive the comeback. Then another passage of moto history will begin.
Until then, this current situation is win-win for everyone as far as I’m concerned. Quit bitchin.

That means American Supercross and Motocross are the most prestigious and/or highest paying championships in the world. Having a diverse field is great for everyone.

It doesn`t mean that. It`s a fact.

The Cornens will have gate drops, which to me is the biggest thing, but they’re not any faster than Dofrancisco.

For real?

Lucas is an absolut supertalent.

When he move pro last year with 16 he won GP's.

I see him as good as Deegan.

When pro riders get asked what’s the top form of dirt bike racing? They always say Supercross. No matter if the rider is an American or a Euro from MXGP. Although I did hear Kitchen say he prefers outdoor nationals over Supercross.  I never hear pro riders say MXGP is the premier series.  Maybe they don’t know? 💁‍♂️
