…at LEMP today flying warp 5, corner speed is just sick.
he only did short motos, but he still has it.
Plain gray fly gear no name or number on the Husqvarna, but everyone knew who it was.
Who knows if he has any aspirations to come back to The Show, but if he did try a pro race or two in the future he wouldn’t suck.
But how does he compare to Tickle.
Were they teammates at PC? Trying to think of the time line
I’m not familiar with “LEMP”
Must have been awesome to watch Baggett ride again low key, he was badass

They were in 2011-2012.
Baggett was one of the few to beat Tomac straight up during his Moto Championship run.
Dude could turn it up a notch like no other, 2012 was wild.
I'd wouldn't mind seeing a three rider team of former pros like Baggett, Tickle, and Canard for outdoors.
El Chupacabra has always liked the Steel frame, remember 2017...
Not this again. Blake was great, but even if he wanted to race now, the sport has moved on......
He raced Glen Helen a few weeks ago, saw on MXA. I think Josh Mosiman beat him one moto, they definitely battled back and forth. That should give you a gauge of where his speed is now as Josh was a 25-30th place guy last year. Blake could get in race shape no doubt and is still fast by our standards, but professional outdoors is a different animal than local track.
Why do some people have such a hard time letting the pros retire and just be regular family men and just ride for fun? Seems like every time one of these guys is spotted riding fast somewhere people instantly start assuming or trying to get them back on the gate for a national or sx. It's wild.
Because even on there bad days they would still smoke every one of us.
Every ex pro can still go fast as shit! They don’t forget how to do it.
So, they still like to strap on boots and crack a cold one after now. Normal people
wht I can tell , not most but at least half of these boiiss be coming back to either race a national or racing these vet classes at Loretta’s , we just seen dunge come back for a whole outdoor circuit & seely come back for a WSX stint , right opportunity & if they want to , they always come back to a pro sanctioned race in some fashion
Yes, I see your point there.
Because losers live through their idols in the same way loser parents live through their children.
Blake was on rails that year! Nice to see he’s back on a bike even if it’s just for fun. Imagine having skills of that level and just not riding, the whole legal battle situation must have tainted it for a while for him.
Pit Row
Typically agree yes, but with Baggett it wasn't exactly a clear or chosen "retirement", even though yes it was some time ago now.
Bagget was never as fast as this man.
In general I agree, but Bagget did have a few outstanding days.
Damn straight
Sure he was lightning fast at times, but 5 is an all timer.
Everyone knows these guys are fast and they don't forget how to ride, but that doesn't answer the question of why people assume the said rider is coming out of retirement just because he's spotted at a local track.
Everyone assumes that because these guys are so fast they must also love riding. RV is the clearest example of someone that says he wasn't that into riding, he just happened to be extremely good at it - hence his career choice.
Yeah, Blake Baggett is not Ryan Dungey.
