came in 20th. Did he crash or did he just mail it in and roll around safely?? Was there any mention of him or ceremony or shout-out from the top guys??
He got to be part of opening ceremonies and the crowd gave him a ton of appreciation. It was awesome. He was around 12th for half the main and got bucked in the whoops and I'm guessing his arm tightened up at that point and he lost pace.
AC mentioned that he was fine for about half the race and then his hand went numb. He whiskey throttled in the whoops and backed it down after that.
From there he was having fun throwing no footers.
ya know, that's GOOD. That would give me satisfaction getting even more evidence that I have no choice but to retire. That kid has a good life ahead of himself. I wish Trey Canard would be more visible sometimes as he was also just a wonderful young man and the sport is better with him in it.
pretty much how I saw it too.. he whiskey'd right in front of me.

It's a bummer he went out that way. Would have liked a top ten or blast through the pack. Was hoping for something better.
He’s retiring because he can’t hang on and finish a main properly. You thought that was going to miraculously change for his last race?
The guy on the bike doesn’t give a shit about the result and is not bummed, nor hoping for anything different than what is, yet some guy on the internet still wants more.
I bet he took it all in those last laps. Good on him. Champion allround
We know he cant go to the full length of a main. Id love to see him continue on as someone to help develop the triumph 450 bike along with Joey racing it. I think he has enough strength to be a tester/developer.
Why ? If he didn’t hv a 5+ hp advantage as an amateur. You never would hv known his name. Good for him but 500k as a am then factory bikes & big money. For a couple regional wins and 1 250 lights championship against no one. I would,be rather seen his 8 mil go to a 125 series for more hungry riders. Sorry but I never bought the ,I Love this sport more than anyone. By far the best ever at Milking a team for money. Nice kid maybe but there’s a lot of nice kids and they didn’t get 8 mil for hanging out.
Wopty damn doo another over hyped and under performing compound kid retires prematurely I never really understood the appeal of this guy on and off the track, seems like a used car salesman.
I'm thinking there's many things you've never understood and never will lol.
Says the Internet forum guy…
And an annoying car salesman. That kisses your azz a little too much. He was a big deal on 85,s with a 8 hp advantage. On a 125 he didn’t look like much at all. 50+ yr olds like Brown would destroy him. Then he’s on a 250f , way too early. Not sure who thought that was a good idea . Because it wasn’t. He was wayyy too small. I think it made his parents and team Look Real bad. He’s lucky the pro,s took it easy on him. And didn’t blast him into a tree.
The hell is your problem??
AC comes across as a great guy, he’s accomplished enough to make a great living in a cutthroat industry and he’s walking away healthy enough to have a great life after racing. I think that’s a great way to move forward and do whatever he wants next. Seems like he could have a presence at the races in the future if he wants it, that’s saying a lot about his character.
I call that a great career
The dude did more on a dirtbike than 99.9% of the population. He’s a race winner, a champion, and a millionaire. Not sure many people would turn down a career like AC’s.
Pit Row
his advantage has already gone up +3HP in 5 posts
Give him a break, done more than most could even dream of. Had talent, skill, determination. let him enjoy what career he had and the life after of it.
Yea, you’re right. He beat a bunch of glorified C class riders in 2019…
Patiently waiting for the announcement of what he is doing next. Praying for the booth.
Someone definitely needs to post the profeshenal selfie
You have clearly huffed too much race gas and HP2 out the silencer of your CR125. You say some wack ass stuff but this is just beyond.....well beyond.... I don't even think there is a word for how bad of a take this is.
This sport is brutal…. Very few get to leave on their own terms…AC maybe could have stayed around & milked a ride, but made a hard decision to move on…dude is a National Outdoor MX champion for christ sakes…
Wow, what an eye-opening post! Thanks! I had forgotten how many future champions Adam raced during his 250 career!
Being an MX champion seems a little more difficult than SX. Any rider with a 250 or 450 title ranks high with me. Others see it the opposite.
You are a loser.
And not because you're an illiterate mentally ill truck driver, but because that's your take on an absolutely stand-up person, who also happens to be a 250 MX champ.
The one year he was winning 450 Moto's during the outdoors and the next step would have been putting two Moto's together but unfortunately injuries didn't allow that to happen. During that time it looked like he and Sexton were the future.
I just noticed in The Vault that he never raced a 250F at Loretta's. He went straight from a Supermini in 2012 to going pro at Budds Creek in 2013. That's pretty impressive.
