Will this be the beginning of the Triumph/Swoll relationship fizzling out like with Ferry? I’ve never seen a rider so quick to just grenade himself and his competitors chance at respective career statement-races. This could be a massive negative momentum swing in both their careers when they needed that podium, and I’m sure Triumph is furious he threw that away for the brand getting a podium in SX year 1 since he has no shot in the showdown. What made him see red like that? Brutal to watch, I feel for Seth in his home state having his race so carelessly ruined.

Same here, great showing for triumph tonight.. just a young kid mistake cost them their first podium.. what jalek showed tonight is that he has the speed and heart and thats something teams can work with.

This is the best SX season Swoll has had in my opinion. He made a dumb mistake and it cost him. He has been riding really well and was rooting for him.

Antsie damn near did the same thing to Hammaker a few laps before. If you went double triple into that sand you ended up outside fast, and if someone was there, you were hitting them. Good aggression, bad timing/decision making.
Was listening to the VitalMX post race interviews and Hammaker said Swoll came over to him after the race and was screaming at him.
He seems like a relatively humble dude. He’s definitely a badass motorcycle racer who made a mistake. I think anybody who has raced as a professional would fit into this description.

Yep I’m sure that after getting a top 5 in the showdown last week, then getting a heat win and running a podium pace today, the obvious conclusion Jalek and Triumph will come to is that this is clearly not working out…
Saw an interview with Hammaker on Whiskey Throttle. He said after the race, Swoll came over to the truck and apologized, so he probably did watch it back.

Swoll is a head case but he rode really good but that was all on him. i think he is one of the biggest reason Ferry moved on.
Do you know Swoll or Ferry personally? I’m guessing not, so much like the OP’s take, your speculation is pure stupid.
