I was just re-watching Cairoli's' epic line he used there on  so many other riders, a  (now ) fair few years ago.

Just perfection in (fairly) 'serving up' competitors to carve through.

And, that reinforced my Never wanting to see radio contact between Teams and Riders, Ever, in MX racing.

And, to be there, and look up to see some mad men / women free climbing on the cliffs nearby, really made the event burn into my Bear Brain.

I wonder how many of Tigas fan club make it there this year? They do make an effort to get to Trentino.

Tim and jeffrey ready to strike, can't let points lead get too big. Prado even threw a shot at jeffrey in the podium interview last week ,you don't want to awake a sleeping giant.Whistling

This is Tim's track. If he starts top 3 I could see him run down Prado. Herlings better get good starts too - a 5-8th start won't cut it on this track

I predict a Prado 1-1-1 with a least 2 holeshots.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he manages to pull at least four holeshots! 😂

Febvre is always good at that track and Prado won his first emx125 and mx2 gp here.

I dont count out those two...

Everyone rave about Trentino, but it is a goat track, like Teuschenthal IMO.

Its way better now they run it clockwise, and it always a decent GP with a killer crowd and atmosphere, and i have a bunch of mates going, and i wish i was, but TG243 needs to pull something back this weekend.

Prado is on a roll. He was talking quite cocky on the after-race interview after the second moto on the weekend.

I still want to see a race from behind victory from him. I don't know if he's ever won a race outside of the top 3 from the start???

They need to rough him up at the start. I can imagine he's going to the line knowing he owns these guys on the start. In SX i don't think he had that mindset.

JH84 better do good as well. He's slipping further back than he'd like to be so early. (just my opinion)

This is also the track where Gajser broke his femur in a pre season race last year.

Trentino kind of reminds me of old school Carlsbad raceway with the wall berms and hard soil...

Got a 11am flight tomorrow morning, can't wait! Love this GP, once of my favourites to go to since they stopped going to Lierop. I see Herlings' ribs are taped up so perhaps not back to full fitness, but hoping for a win from him soon!

This is also the track where Gajser defeated Herlings (when he was in his prime) straight up to win his first GP in 2015.

Edit: he won 5 GP's in total on this track.

This happened in 2014. Gajser was MXGP champ in 2015. This weekend track will be packed with Slovenian fans.

'15, I was there. Gajser became MX2 and MXGP world champion back to back in '15 and '16.

Dang, I remember that race so well.  Can't believe it was 5 years ago!  I am getting old, lol.  Would love to see a race here in person someday.  It has got to be one of the most spectacular locations for a track anywhere in the world....

Maxime Grau, French EMX250 prospect, switch from VHR GASGAS to WZ KTM, debuting at Arco.

The whole area is awesome. Track, on the other hand, is horrible to ride for an average Jo.

Febvre was MXGP champ in 2015. That year RV looped out at Arco battling with Desalle.
That could have been an amazing year but one by one everyone got hurt. That was the best we've ever seen Nagl and he was never the same after 15

So true about Max Nagl, he really looked like he could win the championship that year, I was really routing for him but he got injured and never got that speed back again for the rest of his career.

Anyone know more about this? Pretty strange move for a French rider to leave a French team for a German team after 1 round?

I haven't seen any posts about it but Herlings injured his ribs when he crashed last Saturday?  Bruised, maybe cracked ribs. Per his social media I believe.

He was 6th in free practice this morning so can't be too bad.

Yeah I saw a pic and his side was all done up with that sports tape you see all the athletes use now. Probably just bruised, nothing major
