Shocked pikachu
That sucks. I hope he recovers fully from that concussion. Health is paramount.
Well crap. Take care dude. It is what it is.
How old is J-MART?

Crazy to think we never got to see a prime Martin outdoors on a 450. I think he could have done some serious damage in the class with Multiple wins.
He'll turn 31 on May 11th...
I'm sure it was tough to accept, but I'm glad he's taking his health into serious consideration. Jeremy's a good egg and honestly I think he still has a successful MTB career in front of him if he chooses to retire from moto. He's a champion and an amazing athelete, so if this is it, he shouldnt hang his head because there's alot to be proud of.
Thanks.
Has he raced 450's outdoors before ?
Damn
How old is he? I think maybe it's time to focus on a career that will see him through life.
Very few can earn enough through racing to retire completely...JM is not one of them.
Its not outdoors, but close enough... go watch 2017 Daytona 450SX
As RacerX pointed out....Interesting that it doesn't mention a planned comeback for Outdoors.
Man that blows for seems like such a good person from a good family,
His body is already shot. I am sure he is thinking about the future. 30 used to be a remarkable career.
I dunno, I think he was always going to be a better 250 rider. He's a very small dude, even smaller than RC.
He almost won Daytona on a 450. It seemed like he would be able to make the leap but they just seemed to ragdoll him and his brother.
When did Jeremy ragdoll on a 450?
I've been saying for the last 3 years he needs to retire. And getting down-voted. I'll say it again - the time has come. Repeated concussions are no joke. I stopped moto after 2x concussions last year: I'm a never was, but I want to have a functional brain for when I retire. We all know how brutal this sport is on the body. He's got nothing left to prove to anyone.
Pit Row
Well his back injury one year later surely played a big role in why he didn't transition to a 450 earlier right? I mean that was pretty much a reset of his career. I don't have any information on that, but was he talking to teams or was there any move to the 450 class planned right before his big crash in 2018 that didn't happen because of that?
I don't think he wants to prove something at this point? I think he really just enjoys riding his dirt bike and that's absolutely ok. His body and his injuries. They know what they're doing and they have to live with the consequences. But yeah.. maybe as a fan it would been nicer to see him at like a outdoors only contract, but nobody is going to sign a rider for outdoors only these days, let's be honest.
I think he’s reconsidering his decision to continue racing.
I would never tell someone they need to hang up the boots, but he’s not the only Pro that should be thinking about how much more they want damage themselves.
He's going to go his whole career without racing a 450 National isn't he
Maybe time to go to Europe
Well, whatever the guy decides, he is a 2X National Champion. Very few are as successful as he has been.
His planned career path last I heard was taking over running Spring Creek with his siblings.
I can see both sides here. Ultimately, it's his choice. If he continues to race and winds up in a chair or a blithering idiot I'd feel sorry for him but every swingin' dick that races risks those same consequences. Could happen at any time.
If he pulls the plug...he's hopefully still physically and mentally able to enjoy the rest of his life. Mofo has nothing to prove...but walking away has to be a brain fuck.
Not a bad gig if you can get it.
Seat time whenever you want. Do some coaching. Order a pizza...it really don't matter.

Why , has he got some holiday due?
If I’m remembering correctly, in a somewhat recent interview he said he doesn’t want to race a 450 because it’s too much bike for him.
