Performance parts.

Most people should start with some running shoes or a bicycle, but I know how it is 😅

I agree... but only if you aren't buying the ones that add 10 HP and lighten the bike by 11 lbs (5 kilos).

Basically everything right, ergonomic changes are the best imo.

Ti everything lighten up everything, adding HP to the motor, but personally weigh 260 pounds always makes me laugh.

Exhaust.   They are retarded expensive and the stock ones work fine.   So…..I’m going with an exhaust

Exhaust all the way!

Exhaust.  Not judging the folks that have the coin to buy them though as spending money in the sport is a good thing.  But as far as a mod/accessory that is overrated, definitely exhaust.  Stock exhaust systems now days are excellent.

Hmm, perhaps those atrocious plastic lower frame protectors. Or seal savers.

Most underrated? PC clutch springs are an amazing upgrade for a stock clutch. Relatively inexpensive, too

It keeps my packing dry when I wash the bike.
I guess if you forget to pop it out before you unload the bike, that's a problem.

Oh it 100% does the job it needs to do. I was just making a joke because I know it has caused so many "WTF" moments.

The old dudes that taught me how to race motocross always told me to buy jetting, sprockets, springs and spare parts rather than a bunch of aftermarket stuff...   I still take that approach, although I have a few aftermarket items on each bike.

What are the psychological effects of bling?
If a bunch of anodized bling makes you feel really cool when you go to the starting gate, does that translate into a better start?

Are motocross people actually buying spoke skins?
