Will Christensen long winded rant about Jett

Maybe people wouldn’t have made so many comments if this thread wasn’t titled “long winded rant” and it didn't involve “Jett” since I didn’t hear other people complaining about her recently.  Some people like Cooksie have a whole Youtube mini-series bashing Ricky though about how he is the best of all time racer but can’t call a race.  I am always interested in diversity and willing to give people a shot…Stew wasn’t much of an orator during his career but he has become pretty popular now.  I also like how they have other sports like popular NASCAR or other drivers in the booth for a LCQ at least.  Get a movie star who acts anyways.

Here’s an interview off the broadcast with Ricky and Villopoto about Forkner’s crash where Ricky is able to talk more natural but neither him nor Ryan mentioned the idea of Austin’s claim that his contact lens came out since perhaps they couldn’t verify if it was true or not but it shows Ricky talking more candid with the time to analyze.  JT’s post-race feature made the jump sound a lot worse where he was talking about only having 2 inches to work with in addition to seeing a shiny slick spot.  Austin said his shoulder got ripped off the bars also from it being weak from prior injury.

Did you hear the joke about Karl Malone meeting his wife?  She was at a party and heard about a guy called “The Mailman” and thought he worked for the post office.  But that was his nickname since he always delivers.  Maybe he became an obstentrist too.

NBC sucks. I would be so pissed if I’m on the podium and will is coughing and sneezing all over me she should not even be announcing tonight. She’s terrible anyway.

It’s painful listening to her on a good night.  

Funny how things play out for you when you’re winning. 

That was pretty rough.  Im neutral on Will, but she isnt critical enough to make her gut it out like that.

People pick on Will and at least we know she is not fake or prerecorded since her rough voice tonight was on whenever they had her speak.  Someone could be trying to say stay home if she was sick but it gets smoky in the dome.

Why is this women on the broadcast? She goes on long winded takes that never really go anywhere with any decent insight, taking time away from the announcers while the action is happening. Be more like JT, short insightful takes that are relative to what is happening on the track at that moment. 
and last night she could barely even speak, just give her and us the night off for f*ck sake. 

I like Wil, not a huge fan but I like her. But man you should really take a sick day. I wouldn't want to be on the podium with her breathing on me while she's yelling into the mic.

Last night was preposterous.

if anything came out of Covid, it’s stay the hell home if your sick. No one thinks you are a warrior for dragging your sick ass to work. 
 

I was talking to the team manager and he said we all had a long talk this week about Will and decided to give her a paragraph of information about how our riders are feeling off the bike and to my surprise they all said they actually think and have emotions.  They told me that getting ready for the race is a mental process so they bring 500 piece nature puzzles to the rig for their riders to work on between motos and it seems to work to make them feel a sense of accomplishment building confidence no matter where they place on the racetrack. 

I thought with her sore throat they’d minimize “throwing it to her” or her being short with her words but damn, seems like she doubled down.

That is true about diseases but a rough voice may not necessarily mean covid.  I don’t know that’s a tough call to determine illness but yeah for herself and others spread the good word and cheer not germs.  They say nowadays if you suspect being ill stay home.  I am completely disappointed with the new guidelines that even if you have the virus you can still go out.  No wonder we lead the world in the pandemic with only 300 million people.

This thread needs a lot more pictures to know anything for sure.

Good grief, all damn season long. Glad the season is wrapped up, I need a break.

Mom comes over and walks in while Will Is talking.  First thing out of her mouth is “dam can you turn the tv down she’s annoying Af”. 

Next years announcing team; Weedge on the call, JT on color and AC on the floor.  This would solve 90% of the terrible issues.  Other 10% needs to be a new director.  Put the tracker on bottom of screen like MXGP.  And never use split screen like MXGP.  RC/Stew/Will need to go and never come back.  

Not busting on her, my hearing is not the best but between the background noise and her accent I don't hear/understand much of what she says as well. 

Congratulations Jwoods121.  What does it mean to you to get a break?  That was a long winded season but you somehow watched everything without an aftermarket silencer.
