His brain is still docked somewhere in outer space. Give him time to return to earth my dude.

Just in case anyone clicks this thread looking for an answer, it was mentioned in the post-race press conference that it's currently just reported as checked out by the AStars medical crew as "bruised and sore" but still will go under further evaluation to check if anything is broken.

Plenty of lesser riders would not have finished the moto

Ultimately he could have done that and gotten same result. But doing that he gave himself an opportunity If any other rider couldn’t finish the race he possibly gained points. Tough and smart.

His toughness to complete the race was awesome. But honestly more impressed at how aware he was of the racers lapping him. He was constantly looking for riders coming up to move out the way and not have any effect on riders fighting for position. Just incredibly mature to do when he was in pain and probably pissed off at how bad his night had gone in the moments after dominating race 2. I mean you could see how pissed he was in the interview and from there his night got a lot worse.

Since he’s from Australia and one tough kid he’ll be fine, just needs a little rest. He’s lucky there’s a break next week, it will give him more time to heal up. I still feel very confident that this year’s Championship is his for the taking. 🏍️ 🏆

Jett really has no other choice but to move out of the way of the leaders.  He can’t run the risk of having championship points docked from him this late in the season.  However, I do understand that this is easier said than done, especially with everything else he had going on during the race.

Brutal hit, hope he doesn't have any lasting effects.   Kids a warrior getting on the bike to finish the race out.

(queue up the "disingenuous" insults)

Someone on the forum made an excellent observation. He kinda dragged his leg in the corner and he hadn't done that and had his foot on the peg, Barcia might have broke his leg. Very lucky

Let’s hope that bullshit move by a known asshole doesn’t fuck his championship run

I think he’s fine. Reminds me of red bud when he DNFd and was pretty pissed…dominated a lot of motos after that. I expect another big Jett run..man that third moto was shaping up to be a good one!

With you there, however people feel about him or the situation, that was a hard hit and props to him for shaking it off and getting to the flag.

The fact that he was able to finish the race, albeit at a slower pace is a good sign. Any major injury would limit his ability to weightbear through that arm.

True, adrenaline is a hell of a drug though. I’d bet the kid is sore as fuck today

Jett was a badass last night, soldiering on when you’re hurting is just miserable.

Whatever happened was bad enough to slow him down to 21st place, and 2 laps down, so there’s gotta be a reason. I can’t see anything visibly wrong with his bike, but that hit could’ve bent the frame enough to be a problem?

If the bike was OK, then Jett isn’t OK, simple as that.

Hopefully it was a bike problem.

He was just trying to stay out there as long as could to get some sort of points. the bike seemed fine, he didn't. Props to the kid for going through that, I gained some more respect for him.

According to the lapper haters on here, Jett should have been black flagged once he went 2 laps down.

Actually is was a night when he gained true moto fans. Class act after the race as well.

You don't have to win every race to be considered one of the best.
