Barcia was committed to the corner and blocking the inside line. He did not think Jett was going to cut down like that and was probably not even trying to pass Jett. There was no time to react.

Dunge screwed up! Rewatch the whole race because Dunge losr control on the same jump during the heat too (kicked up his rear wheel and he couldnt brake). He knew there was an issue there and litterally knocked out James. Dunge is not dirty but it was poor judgement and a rider got seriously injured due to it.
All things considered Jett is extremely lucky it was a triple crown race and that he has an extra week to recover. If that happened in a normal race he would've lost the championship lead
