De Wolf and most other dutchies do not have much Supercross experience-they built a Supercross track at Lelystad a few years ago, but nobody used it so they flattened it.
I have seen the guy train a couple times in person, and he is even more talented than what it looks like on TV, he has crazy skills.
maybe he could pick up Supercross, but probably not in the near future because he is leading the championship right now…
This would be a @LewisPhillips question, but I believe de Wolf is under contract with Husky for at least another year.

You want to go to the United States one day. RedBud really inspired you last year. Do you have a plan or idea in your head about how you want to do this?
I still have a contract until the end of 2025. I will not have a chance before the end of 2025 and then we will see what deals are on the table. It is a dream for, I think, eighty percent of the paddock here. We had the team presentation video for this weekend and my mom was like, "Where is this voice from?" I was like, "Have you never seen opening ceremonies from the AMA?" I showed her and she was like, "Woah. I never even knew this." I knew from the videos and stuff that I have watched. It is incredible. I have never been to an actual AMA Supercross – it is difficult for us to go and watch. I am really hoping to be out there one day.

It's just a gut feeling, but he will be in the US in 2026... With the addition of Triumph, Beta and Ducati, there will be good (PC, Star, HRC etc) rides available.
He’s my favorite MX2 rider for sure. I would absolutely love to see him race here.

Honest question, how much did Jett and now Prado have? I don't know how many SX tracks there are in Europe to practice on but I'm guessing they get to have a bit of a muck around. If he gets over young enough I'm sure he could adapt, just a matter of how well
Prado rode some SX in 2016 the last time before he came to the US this winter to prepare for the first rounds.
Jett started riding SX in 2019 just before the Monster Cup. Maybe he had the chance to get some laps in on Roczens tiny SX track in germany, that's it.
A guy with talent and style like De Wolf? He'll be fine is my guess.

Vialle can, so de Wolf could as well. He has the perfect style for Supercross and is very precise in his riding. For me it's a no brainer and I think if he is able to win the championship in 2024 the Pierer Group is willing to have him in 2025 and beyond in the US.
I call him the spider monkey on a dirt bike, he works his ass off to keep that bike low and moving forward. It is a treat to watch, and definitely a style of his own. As much as I would love to see him come race SX, I would also love to see him win an MXGP championship. There is a handful of really fast guys in that 250 class, he will be graduating with awesome competition, the racing in the 450 class is going to get better and more competitive soon.
Side note, someone above mentioned his time at RedBud, and I can say Kay was one of the very few riders that was actually walking the track every chance he got, analyzing every section on foot - I just left more impressed with him than I was before.

Ahh, beat Lucas while you can. He’s years ahead of Kay as far as development. Agree with Kay being exciting to watch. But Lucas gives you next level vibes when you watch him.
Farres as well. Absolutely 0 SX experience. And he didn't even go there a World Champ. He was still an Amateur when he went over. First year in SX and he's got two top 10s in two tries.

I agree that it would be a treat to see him cross the atlantic to race in america. His style reminds me of Jadon Anderson and he definitely has the wow factor at times that a guy like James could produce (I may get flammed for comparing him to James, but see the video below and tell me you don’t agree with me haha)

That was stylish. 1st time I saw him on a 125 , I said that kid is special. I thought he would win the 250 championship in his 1st yr. He could live in a Dutch windmill in Combined Locks ,Wi. from Holland. A lot of Dutch 30 mi s of Green Bay. #1 125 rider last in Wi. Has a Dutch last name .
I’m not so sure about that. The Ktm group is already lettting the brothers come over in 26 and ktm has some amateurs who will be ready by then.
I’d bet on this too . If he wants to come in 26 there will be a ride available .
Coenen brothers and De Wolf to AMA would be absolutely epic.
Wonder if this trend of more and more young Euro kids in the MXGP scene coming across have an impact on the American amateur scene.
Don’t get me wrong.. euros always have come across the pod to race ama.. but seems like it’s becoming a little easier to transition across now with teams keeping scouts on overseas riders and social media making things a little more accessible.
If all of it happen (both Coenen brothers and De Wolf), I think it's time for Infront to reevaluate the program they have going on. I know it's not since yesterday that european riders are coming over, but it seems like guys are more vocal about how shit the tracks conditions often are and how they want to race in the US nowadays. Within a span of four years they will have lost a 2x mx2 champion (Vialle), a probably 2x mx1 champion (Prado) and 2 of the most exciting and promising riders of the mx2 category (De Wolf and Lucas Coenen).
Finally some price money fir the riders and no more qualifying races on Saturday would change things massively already
The MXGP tracks are not a real factor.
Its more about earning money and challenging US riders.
A possible link up between the series during outdoors would really help MXGP retain some of the top riders. Seems like a lot of the younger guys want out. When a big group retires, the series will look very different. Losing a lot of star power in the next few years.
It is also a sign there is fev talent in america that farres is a factory rider....and that riders from europa get so easy can gets i ride.......
Not sure if easy is the right word, but teams are definitely looking a little further afield than maby they used to.
