He's 20, there's nobody coming up. The only threats are retiring....Do the math.
calm down my brotha , let him progress thru his 450 career & then we can revisit this when hes like 27 or 28
Jeremy is shaking in his boots
Robbie Wageman is retiring?!?!
Dude, 72 is not the only record under threat here. Ricky's 150 is in play, too. Jett is just as good outdoors as in the stadiums.
If he stays healthy for 10 years, he re-writes the record books.

Just move this to the dumbgeon already, the real replies have been clipped by mods.
Already deleting posts haha. Truth hurts for some, 73 is coming whether you like it or not.
Do these crystal balls extend to the financial markets? Geo-politics?
If so, well, here's my number, so call me, maybe?
What got clipped? ML clipped my totally innocuous thread title last week amd now he's deleting posts?
Honeymoon is over. Back to GuyB territory.,I guess.
Peeps busting out their Aussie vocab.
You figure it out.
Haven’t touched shit.
I only delete sexist or racist posts / then suspend said users.
One of our mods clipped NP301’s post in this thread because he told the OP “shut up annoying ass cunt”
Which will earn him a suspension. Rule against personal attacks that users can’t seem to follow…
Chase Sexton is still going to be around for the next 5 years at least, plus others of course. I don’t think we should disrespect that calibre of rider by gifting Jett every record in the book at this stage
Apart from Sexton for the next 5years, we need some young gun with talents out of this world to come in quick. Which seems bleak looking at the amateur scene right now.
73 is still a long way to go...let's resume these talks after 40, better yet 50..way too early.
Crashes happen, injuries happen.
I say injuries are the only thing preventing him from taking 73 and 150 and 10 titles…if he can stay healthy he’ll be the goat by the time he retires.
And he’s far from my favorite rider…but there is no denying his talent and potential. And injury free, The 2020’s are to Jett what the 1990’s were to McGrath…and the 2030’s will be to Jett what the 2000’s were to RC.
MC said he doesn’t want anyone breaking his record but based on Indy it looks like Jett is not just willing to try and win but hang it out and take it.
Deegan is coming and he is bringing hell with him!!! Hell or the fleas that follow him on the socials media .😆
Yeah the thing with McGrath and the record is kinda weird. Jett doesn’t even have 10 SX wins yet and Jeremy is already saying he doesn’t want his record broken. Definitely odd
You probably think of Deegan 24/7
Pit Row
Jeremy has said that long before Jett came and Deegan is no king in the making the way he carries himself. Jeremy did however have Ricky stay with him and say if anyone beats any records it would be him but he’s still not the goat of Supercross and he tells him that right to his face. Not the goat of announcing races either lol.
Chase will be around yes, but Chase is already "done". Jett knows it and Chase sure as hell knows it. Last year, Chase was arguably at peak form. Jett was literally wiping the floor with him as he was learning to ride the 450 as a 19 year old rookie. I don't think people even comprehend how ridiculous it is for a kid to hop on a bike he had never raced before, at 19 years old and destroy riders who have been building and building for years. If you think last summer was a bloodbath. Wait until Jett is 22 or 23 years old......
Kings have alot of pride.
Sure but it’s come up more than once in the last couple months and every time Jeremy gets defensive about it
i said what i had to say for today about how I didn’t like Deegan taking other riders out or intimidating them and then getting praised for it by RC for bouncing back from a stressful character building week as a champ in the making especially with Coty having a feature story about his record fracture recovery or Seth crashing from a podium last week. Ironically, Deegan ran into Coty at the start and went down as retribution of some sort.
And MC’s crown ain't easy to break.
I wasn’t much of a Jett fan until tonight where he didn’t just play it safe but went for the win in tight racing that a champ would do.
I would say Bradshaw at 17 and Carmichael at 19 did it well
The only record books in America are Americans from my observation.
Not sure why people keep harping on about Jett vs the King’s record? It’s a bit unhinged.
What ever happened to enjoying the racing one week at a time?
I bet he retires around that age, can't see him sticking around until he's in his 30s. OP is right though, Sexton currently is the only one who will have anything for Jett in the coming few years, if he can get a bike that he's comfortable with. Besides Chase, who is there coming up that can be a threat? Because I honestly can't think of anyone.
Getting on the Jett train now is like getting on the bitcoin hype in the $.001's when everyone was still clowning it.
Its not too late join us and some time in the next decade you can laugh at all these people too.
Post a reply to: 73 race wins is done!!!
