Thats fine but when showing riders during qualifying don’t cut off on a hot lap to show us someone rolling into the pits!! Only reason we saw one today was because Brayton told them to stay on the rider full full lap!!

I always got more of this sort of vibe from "The Powers That Be" in the US regarding 2-stroke MX, 125s in particular. (Can't have them finding out how much fun and less expensive things can be.)
Trust me, I get it and totally agree. I’m just explaining how to make RDL easier to digest and why they show all these interviews and stuff while qualifying is happening. If you’re expecting it to be a strictly qualifying broadcast, you’re gonna have a bad time. I mean they just showed a Roczen feature instead of the first half of 450 B.
Just have him pronounce his first name as “Sha”, like Charles LeClerc in F1.
The unpredictability will be the biblical ruts.
At least it isn't like watching ball (without bats) sports.

IMO, the problem with all these interviews/features is that the people tuning in for RDL don't care about them.
The people tuning in for RDL are not casual viewers.
They need to start catering to the hardcore passionate fans.

For sure that would be great and I’m not arguing any of these points or even saying RDL is good. But until that happens, I just found myself not trying to pull the hair out of my head every moment that passes on RDL once you realize it’s a pre-race show that covers some of the qualifying and not a qualifying broadcast.

Believe me, I don't stress over how shitty I think RDL is. At this point, it is what it is.
I tune in and out, and rely on live timing.

Hardcore fans are the ONLY ones digging deep into Peacock to watch RDL. We are lucky to catch a causual fan on the regular broadcast. Quit talking to ghosts

Exactly. Casual fans or people just clicking channels looking for something to watch aren't interested in watching 2-3 hours of timed qualifying where most of the coverage is guys rolling around the track waiting to put in a heater. Only the hardcore guys are interested in this stuff. I like science for SX and the interviews but not during a session. All the little fluff pieces I just ignore.
