Way too early but if everyone stays healthy and rides to their potential.

MXGP - Sexton

MX2 - Deegan

MX open - Anderson

Plessinger has shit the bed too many times for consideration and J Cooper could be an option.

I reckon Kitchen is going to look good in MX this year, I'm out on Hampshire vs. the GP guys. Deegan as much as he bugs me will probably continue to get better at MX this year. I'm excited to see JCoop on the 450 and I concur he and Sexton would be a good team.

Really need to see outdoors…

But.

Sexton and JCoop on 450 and Hampshire on 250 seems legit.

And also Sexton and Hampshire on 450 and Deegan on 250 also seems capable.

Sexton was strong at Red Bud and Hampshire was our top dog at Ernee.  I think they both need to be on the team.

It lost its luster when teams wont allow our best riders go.

I don't know about that...  Yes, they've been a little hit and miss since Covid, but before that it wasn't an issue.

Remember Assen?  Here's JCoop on the Yamaha....  Wink

Now would be the time for media to start asking team managers if they're going to support their riders going. Don't wait until a rider wants to back out but wants the team to take the heat for it. Get them on the record, put a little pressure on them to say something. Dare them to give an answer that is anything short of yes. Are you going to support your riders if they're chosen to represent their country in mxon?

OPEN J Cooper - Great starter which Team USA needs desperately in MXdN

MX2  Mcadoo - Solid Daytona race but needs to stop crashing

MXGP Sexton - He's got something to prove outdoors

Go Team USA !!!

Kawasaki had been out for a number of years,  and Star Yamaha has been only keen when it looks like the usa can win,

it will be interesting too see if Prado goes for Spain if he takes the Kawi ride,

My thought process around Deegan going is that they'll definitely want him to represent in 2025 when it's at home, so going this year would be a good learning experience for him. He'll get to experience what it's like before the big one next year. Makes sense to send him in 24 imo.

Why would he be picked, he isn't the fastest American 250 rider, other American riders are leading him in 250SX East.

Because the 250 rider selection for the mxon outdoor motocross race isn't based on the east coast regional championship for a start Pinch

Well, it sure as s**t shouldn't be!

I just hope that the best 250 MX rider, whoever it may be, wants to go and their Team will support said rider, and the Countries Team that they make their money in.

100%. The race is always more exciting when the best of the best are there.

And that's especially important this year as I have VIP tickets for it Laughing

The chances are good it will be another shit show cluster fuck selection process. This team doesn't want to go, this rider doesn't want to go, there is no money, there is no rest time, it appears the regular season has become more important than the MXON to the American riders and teams. Perhaps it should be, the MXON is a one off, who the hell knows what can happen race.

I'm actually a bit more hopeful this season. I think 23 was just a freak year in terms of a lot of shit happening which ruled a lot of riders out. Fingers crossed USA send a good team. It's always a better event when you guys show up.

I’d put Cooper on the 250 over Deegan any day of the week .
