If I was Cooper, I would have stopped to see if she was alright. Would’ve forced them to restart and/or he would’ve looked like an actual human being which would’ve gotten really good PR.

Jett and Coop were talking about it at the end of the broadcast

We’re here & I was sitting right across from her. I saw it happen. She was standing too far on the outside of that corner, and Cooper was coming in tight and at the last second she jumped with both boards out of the way. It was crazy. Everyone’s like what the fuck is she doing on the track!? I’ve never seen anything like it. I have no idea why she was still standing on the track. She knew the leaders were coming around because Jett went right by her and then Cooper came inside of her. She slowed him down a little bit because after that he was never able to get back on Jetta heels. It was definitely one of those WTF moments… 

How many people were on the track at Daytona during the race?

They need Secret Service Agents there to guide her around when she wanders off.  It works in other places.

Last weekend in Daytona there was a UTV on the track, this week the card girl I'm looking forward to the return of the boats and trucks but this time not on the side of the track but in front of a double to make it more intensive and interesting. 🤦‍♂️

I have always noticed that she takes her que from him and I bet he is instructed to drag her ass off the track if she goes down running for the sidelines 

I'm happy to hear she's OK and taking it okay.

Maybe he could have thrown it in on Jett in that corner, but in the end Jett would have won.

Weirdest thing but I was sitting there watching her hold the card up from the rear view and was thinking how gnarly it would be for her to get run down ..Then they come around and almost take her out. Never have thought about that in all the races I’ve watched. 

I thought all the whiners on here complaining about how unprofessional “our sport” is, and what a bad look “we have” compared to other sports has been utterly ridiculous…well the whiners were right and I was wrong!  
 

This was shameful, and to say that it had no impact on the race is a complete lie. The only chance Webb had to get Jett was the first couple laps where he could throw it in on him. And that girl ruined what could have been an exciting race.

Many of them do other promotional events. There are things you'd not think of but things like industrial trade shows. They're paid to greet customers and draw them into the vendors booth. Product photo shoots. There's a whole world of marketing out there that doesn't require them to disrobe.
