Not available in the USA yet.

on that note, shout out to my dude -Kawasaki Netherlands team rider and Twin Air  tester Robert Fobbe.
Robert is helping to test  the TwinAir power flow kit, and spends  a fair amount of time in SoCal lately testing and training.

today in Lierop, in his very first 450 race,  Robert (841 on the Kawi) was able to keep up with the Bullet for at least the length of the start before Herlings took off🤪🤪

Sorry if this is a little bit off topic but as the 24 kx450 comes with new dunlop mx34, what does everyone think of this tyre compared to the 33 in pure sand conditions? I'm feeling though it maybe a step backwards for full sand but a step forward for anything a bit harder base.

Here is a cage i made out of a stock filter cage with so 4mm nylon pneumatic hose. I use uni filters rush filters. No sucky in. I can post more pics if interested. Cost me $820240228 164105.jpg?VersionId=59fpEBne4mpyExCNqDAm

Glad to hear that.  I just took a chance and ordered a KX250 rear rotor from Rocky Mountain.  The Tusk rotors are like 1/5 the cost of OEM.  I’m sure it will be just fine for my practice wheel set.  I’ll keep the OE wheels with good tires on them for racing.  Rocky Mountain didn’t know/was too lazy to confirm that the KX250 rotor would work on the 2024 450.

has anybody tested the FMF verse the PC?  just read keefers article on the fmf slip on & says definitely better than stock but curious how it compares to the PC full system.

I had a hell of a time looking through Rocky Mountain trying to make sure I got the 240. Found one on MXlocker for a 250

I was able to try a HGS system and a Pro Circuit complete Ti System back to back, the pro rider that tried them liked the PC system as he felt it gave more low end power over the HGS.

The X factor is the airbox and the ECU in my opinion, you can't go wrong with getting rid of the restrictive and heavy stock exhaust and replacing it with any aftermarket system, the stocker weighs a ton and is quite restrictive.

As far as I know, you can choose from FMF, HGS, Pro Circuit and Bill's Pipes as an upgrade for this bike...

model yr 2020 KX250 is equipped with a 250mm rotor and caliper bracket. Only 2020’s.

Speaking of weight on this bike, has anyone looked at the steel beast that is the coolant hose pipe ? About a foot long, roughly 3/4” in diameter. Surely an aluminum fitting would knock a lb off if it needs to be metal due to the close proximity of the head pipe.  Or has anyone started making a rubber hose fitting replacement ?

Io non parlo del freno posteriore. Ma della lunghezza della molla del mono Showa. Sul kx450 2024.

Sorry, I thought you were asking if they were saying the rear shock spring length on the 2024 KX450 was 240 mm and I was trying to clarify what they talking about.

I don't own that model, so one of the guys that does will have to confirm the length of the stock spring, but Race Tech is showing their shock springs for the '24 KX450 are 243 mm long.

Hope it helps.

Its a little confusing which bike you are referring to the 2020 KX250 or the 2024 KX450 but….. Yes we have the 2020 KX250 Y kit.

Moto Hose will have 2 different kits for the NEW 2024 KX450 in both the stock setup and a Y hose kit that uses the stock steel tube ETA in a couple weeks.

As for the steel tube as soon as I saw it the Moto Hose wheels were in motion with completely eliminating it … and even an a bit more as our 3rd WORKS KX450 kit.

No ETA at this point for the WORKS kit due to delays in getting the stock steel tube from Kawasaki plus redesigning and CNCing parts but rough ETA is in the next 3 months.

This WORKS design is one of the reasons I asked if there was anyone in the Charlotte area with a 2024 KX450 that we can test fit Moto Hose products on.

The 2020 KX250 rotor size was just a side note in my post.

The message I wanted to get out there is how to replace the 24 KX450 steel coolant pipe with a lighter alternative. Your works kit sounds promising, I’ve noticed Jason Anderson’s bike appears to maybe have the 2019-2023 KX450 coolant hose set up. They aren’t running the big steel pipe and the cylinder head fitting houses the coolant temp sensor ala the 19-23 models.

I think a 19-23 water pump cover fits onto the 24. From there it looks like you could use the previous gen’s hose to replace the big steel pipe.

The 2024 KX450 layout is a totally new shape and design so the previous 2023 will not fit.

Samco sponsors the Kawasaki team so they had the advantage of access to the new 2024 design months before the new bike was even released so they had a huge head start on us
