I'm not disagreeing with you, but the only place Vince could have went was directly into Coop's path. Should Vince have pulled out of the main racing line? Absolutely. But as a pro, you have to be prepared for anything and everything. Just chalk this one up to experience. Coop did what he needed to do.
The trouble is Vince has done so many goofy things he's used his get out of jail free card. Even when he's not in the wrong (like last night) he catches the heat.
Jett has a tendency to do squirrely things in SX after a crash or incident in SX. Outdoors he was smooth as butter. Yes he's in the points Lead. Yes there are more races to go...
It is funny that Freise had an effect last night. He’s like a brick wall when someone goes to pass him, and his bike is about 10 feet wide, lol. The good thing is, Freise is the same to everyone.

I actually think it was a combination of things, where he was probably thinking before they even got to the whoops that that was an opportunity and he was gonna just send it and try to rely on his whoop skill and then he was probably shocked that Webb didn't cover the inside, committed then realised 'oh that's why Webb wasn't covering the inside' haha and he was then committed to skimming those nightmares..
Also if Vince wasn't actually trying to do the right thing and was going his normal speed and not trying to not get involved (gotta be an easier way to say that) he would've been long gone and not in the corner but I'm not in any way blaming Vince.. I mean he could've gotten off the track entirely and waited for them to pass but.. I'm not really expecting anyone to do that but perfect world and all that.. But yes he could've been more patient (reads the above sentence again haha)
I can understand why Craig did not want to race.
I have shit on Vince as much as anyone but he's not really done much worth shitting on him for this season. Maybe he's...... learned? I really don't know.....
He starts well and be it skill or reputation guys take a while to get around him, but that's not on him. Nothing he could have done to get out of the way on this one.
He wasn't fighting for position with any other lappers, he was shown the blue flag twice, indicating there was a race going on and he was not in it!
When he was first shown the blue flag, at the start of the previous straight, he could have changed his line into the corner before the whoops and gone down the right side of the whoops, like some other lappers did.
Also Jett should not have crashed into him.

I can't stand Friese as a rider for his dirty and at times dangerous antics, but putting the blame on him for the Arlington crashes is way too big of a stretch. He still has to go through the whoops and there were only really two lines through there. He chose one and it happened to be the furthest line from the leader who was coming up on him. Jett had the power to change lines when seeing Friese on the left side of the whoops, Friese did not have the knowledge or option to move out of Jett's way.
If you read my posts, I haven't blamed Vince for the crash, that's on Jett.
I'm blaming Vince for not following the blue flag rules and the AMA for not enforcing the blue flag rules.
Vince was shown the blue flag at the start of the straight before the whoop section...
He had plenty of time to move off the fast line, and stay off the fast line, but instead he head to the fast line on the inside of the corner after the whoops, which impeded a faster rider.
Plenty of blame to go around, the crash is Jett's fault, not following the blue flag rules in Vince's fault, not enforcing the blue flag rules is the AMA's fault.
I had no idea....

Realise one thing though....you'd be getting upvoted if Vince did the same thing...riding on his own and 3 straights of blue flags in his face...and it was Tomac that went down....there would also be a 10 pager.
Vince is just a just a moron with a boat anchor tied to his bike that causes carnage.
The AMA are morons for not enforcing the rules, but it creates drama, which Feld likes!
