At Arlington SX and they have 3/4 of the stadium closed off for practice; but they have no one checking tix for seats in open section.

Tried to go to my seat which would be end zone and tons of people there. No big deal, Id rather ve at 50 yard line anyway for practice.  Head that way and that part if the stadium is closed off until 4pm. Meanwhile 450 A practice is going off. I paid a shit load for my family to come watch this but Ive got some lady chastizing me because im in between the barriers to watch practice while someone else is in my seat.

What the fuck? Ive been to Arlington Sx many times and whole stadium is open for practice

Practice is open seating, your assigned seat is only for the night show.

They desperately need to open up more of the stadium. This is wild.

It’s supposed to be open seating but in some of the sections the staff is telling people it isn’t. I got kicked out of the first section I sat in along with everyone else there. We tried explaining to the lady but she said we had to go stand in another area. Also took me an hour to get in because they only had 2 gates open.

I’ve been to countless Supercross races since the early 90s. I’ve never seen anything like this.

This is why I quit going to Jerry world. Completely ruined practice and qualifying for spectating. And also why the old stadium ruled for supercross.

They have 1 or 2 gates open to get in, the line is ridiculous. The lady working who is very knowledgeable, great at her job and supervisor doest know why the other gates are not open, she isnt happy either. Some concession stands dont serve food til 330, so the ones serving food have 100s of people waiting. All the staff is great but this is ridiculous to only have 1/4 of stadium open. And the pits 😳 Dont get me wrong we are enjoying the event, but if they would open it up itd be much more enjoyable for fans and staff.

Kind of glad I didn’t go with all the people I was gonna go with (like 8-10). Sounds like it would’ve been a nightmare.

They did that at Nashville last year too. Not enough seats open for people to watch practice and all the sections were closed. So annoying people were yelling at the staff that practice is part of the show. No food open either. Sucks man

I had thoughts of driving up from Houston to attend but didn’t.  Sounds like I made a good decision.  I’ll watch from the comfort of my own home.  Hope everyone gets their seats and food sorted out and enjoys the event.

Thats not Felds deal, that's the stadium but feel free to shit on Feld for everything you don't like. SX is better off without "fans" like you. and its not "your" seat during practice.

Phoenix was the same.  Went to my mother’s seat in the handicapped section with my mom in a wheelchair and some smug lady said “open seating” and dismissed us.   This needs to change at the very least for the handicapped…..

Getting in stadium was faster for night show, just took few minutes.

For fucks sake, stop being a victim. Go to your seats, show them the wheelchair, and ask for your seats. I'd give it up for that and I think most would.

I had a good laugh on this one....lol.

People thinks their tickets count for open seating during practice. It's literally been this way for the last 20 years.

The individual stadiums handle operations and staffing. FELD requires them be open for fan fest/practice, but once again, staffing is on the stadium.

Why are some people defending Feld over a crappy experience at a Feld event? I can see problems with the stadium, but are any of y’all related to the Feld people? Weird

It’s like vehemently defending AT&T over someone complaining about a bad call or connection? Why?

was the same way at SF, only one entrance to the stadium open, pits outside a mile away, and a line of at least 500 to get back in stadium from pits. That's why we watch from home.

Because it's the stadiums with the policies not Feld....totally out of Felds control on how the stadiums operate....I know it's easy to blame Feld for everything but this isn't on them.

It's been this way for years. Open seating in one area of the stadium during practice and then assigned seating for the night show. No one was in your seat because it was open seating during practice.

Right, defending this but get ready for a dozen threads complaining about nonsense by the end of the night

Because daytime practice in the stadium has been ran this way for over 40 years. Long before Feld was even involved, but you knew that, right?

I’m sure are stadium operations that are requirements for Feld to comply to, such as safety and what you can bring in. However I don’t think stadium operations can close off all but 1 seat and Feld has no influence. Same with the concessions, it is unreasonable for Feld to have no knowledge of or influence over those decisions.
