Talked to him and Scott at length. Denny is going to ease back into it as a rep for Viral goggles for the next few rounds to see if he really wants to be back on the road each weekend and traveling to the races.
I will tell you that he was smiling ear to ear every time I saw him throughout the day.

What the fuck are you talking about? He’s been very open about it and Cox showed what a shithole he is by trying to badger him into backsliding. Any ‘big fan’ of Stephenson’s would know his struggles with addiction, and be supportive of his recovery. I don’t care if he falls off the wagon a hundred times, every sober day is a great day for a guy like Denny.
But why bring up when no one else has?
You wanted to point it out for a reason.

Why am I not surprised
Frankly, I respect the heck out of Denny and his recovery. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Addiction is a human condition, not a social or personal downfall at all. I’m 25-years clean & sober this year…by the grace of God, and people loving & supporting me. I hope Denny can slip back into moto, since he loves it so much!

and he's always cool to me. We don't always agree on topics but as long as you're not a D Bag, he's usually not in return. I really like the dude and I wasn't much of a fan of his back in the day. I do find it sad that anytime he has a hot take or someone doesn't like what he says or does, that they bring up his past issues...
