Tomac should just retire

At his current shape, he is not the Daytona favorite.

I really hope you’re one of Steve’s buddies just giving him shit, otherwise, you can get a running start and kiss my whole ass. GuyB is as legit as they come.

He retires at Daytona with a 3rd.   

This doesn't seem out of character for Eli.  The guy will leave everyone scratching their heads for a few weeks and then out of nowhere put in a ridiculous ride where he looks untouchable.  Something is clearly off with him whether it's physical or bike related but when the guy isn't feeling it he doesn't take any risks.  Jett, on the other hand, just seems to go for it no matter what.  We've seen him either crash or almost crash pretty much every race so far whereas Eli hasn't really had any big moments.  From a spectator point of view, Jett's been more entertaining to watch, but no way do we get to the end of this series and Eli doesn't put in one of those rides that makes everyone looks stupid.

Lighten up, Francis. Do you get mad when people leave shopping carts loose in the parking lot? This place used to have an edge...

Its getting harder to be a loyal fan of ET3. But he has surprised me in the past. 

Loyalty is supporting your rider through thick and thin not just when he's winning. Don't fall into the front-runner category 🤦‍♂️

Tomac is not 100 yet. He's coming back from a gnarly injury.  

Look for Tomac to use this break to fix his conditioning and bike setup. He'll be fine.

Expecting him to come back at round 1 and win is crazy. He'll build as the season progresses. I predict he'll have at least 1 win before the season is over.

My money is on Jett, but no one should be surprised if Eli wins Daytona. It takes a long time to get back to 100 percent race pace.

Anybody that is writing Tomac off from winning Daytona must just not have been paying attention  to him  if he was not winning. He is one of the guys that could go 10, 6, 5, and than 1,1,1 and it would be a normal Tomac thing.  I would be more worried if he looked like he was trying very hard and finishing badly ( for a rider like Tomac). Most of the bad races he has had , he looks like he is just cruising and letting guys by.

I could see him having an epic battle with Jett at Daytona.

I could see him dominate Daytona.

I could also see him take an unimpressive and distant 3rd with Jett and Kenny, going 1-2.  Who knows how much Chases hand will be bothering him by then. 

 As long as he is lining up , he has a shot at winning. Crazy to write him off until he himself says he is done.

Meanwhile, Jett sounding like a rookie about Eli;  "He's not the Beast he used to be". Kid hasn't seen 100% Tomac yet this year and still couldn't run him down at Anaheim 2.

I miss watching bubba do godly stuff at Daytona
