Not that it matters, but when every sentence includes promoting the brand it gets a bit silly. It sounds even un-intelligent, like a small kid who was told to do a certain thing in a certain way.

This. Ricky stumbles when sticking to the script. His off-the-cuff commentary flows more easily and is vastly more entertaining. I understand the need for corporate adherence, but that technique hasn’t worked for over a decade. Either allow Ricky to be Ricky, or move on…
People in the Ghetto have horrible english speaking habits and are uneducated. The way people criticize Ricky Carmichael, he could easily be described as Ghettoing up the broadcast, but immediately those sensitive types that see racism EVERYWHERE just assume I must be racist for merely mentioning the word Ghetto. Maybe making the assumption that saying Ghetto means he must be speaking about James Stewart makes YOU! the real racist.
RC rocks. His experience is invaluable. I love the “oahhh”s when a rider slips up or goes down. I really don’t understand the harsh criticisms.
Opinions vary.
I think Ricky would excel at moving to the lead analyst position for the in-between desk they tried with Weege and the other woman at A1. I consider him like Shaq for basketball on TNT because I’d hate to have Shaq calling the live action of a game, but he does offer insightful things when it’s a bit more planned out.
I like RC, but he really struggles with live action calling. Bring in Brayton for the role, or AC if he decides to hang up his boots soon.
