Although this week's weather shouldn't affect the race, kind of sucks for the early, out of town visitors looking for something to do.

Atmospheric river, Pineapple express, Biblical proportions, Generational rainstorms.

Seems like it always rains right around the Waste Management Open......Gotta love El Nino

Saturday weather will be on par with the usual coldest days of the year we typically see in Phoenix.  We only get a half dozen days like that a year where the highs are in the 50s.  I normally enjoy those days given the +300 days a year of sunshine we get.  But for SX Saturday, I'd prefer Sunny and 70F.  Hoping it clears up for Saturday.  Tailgating and pit party are some of the best part of the event.

If we get 3-4 days or straight rain, that’ll be nuts. The only time I remember getting over 48hrs of consistent rain, our freeways flooded. BRING IT ON

We get flood watches all the time. Then it rains for 3 minutes. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Last year during the SX all the arroyos we went by were full and flowing.

It never rained though, maybe it was snow melt. I don't know.

It may rain too damn much here, but I have 6 public and 2 private tracks with 90 minutes of my house. From May to November you can get your moto on 3-4 days a week easy.

They get a flood watch in Arizona if it sprinkles, Phoenix people would literally scramble for shelter back in the 90's. Hilarious, Us hillbilly Kansans out riding in it Cool

It's been no joke, that's for sure. Just stopped for the first time in 3 days here at my house.

I’m in Scottsdale this week and a big storm came in over night. It’ll be alright though. Is a downer for the Phoenix Open though.

Both my apps still show 50% rain on saturday in glendale but only .06 inch so hopefully it isn’t too bad. The race will be fine of course but I am hoping we can enjoy the pits without getting wet!

It opened at 11 am last year.  Have not seen anything official for this year yet.
