How soon before Kawasaki decides to be more like the Jones' and drops a red KX?
It's totally not out there. They had this Sunshine Red KDX200-B3 back in 1984:

Red sells, doesn’t matter what it is. Snowmobiles to bass boats the color red sells. Especially red and black.
Honda has the best red, Beta has a nice semi-flo red, and a lot of people aren't going to like hearing this but the Gas Gas red sucks compared to both. Gas Gas is a darker blood red compared to Honda's red and Beta's semi-flo red.
I would buy any bike if it was Honda Red or Beta Red/orange. I could not say the same for the Gas Gas red.
I'm gonna be honest and I don't blame you if you don't like this opinion, but something about Gas Gas just turns me off. Maybe it's because of the fact that it's marketed as the "stripped down" version of the Husky and KTM. Gas Gas just seems "made in China" to me. I'm not even sure why that's just the vibe the bike gives me.
Whenever I find out someone I know from the track has switched to Gas Gas I am disappointed
There are only so many colors lol. Red is the most common color in all of motorsports.

R-tech was offering a ducati red / Neon red plastic for KTM's at one point. I have not checked recently to see if they still have it, or for what year bikes they offer it for. I had some for the CRF and it was similar to the 90s CR flo red color.
I think Kawi has the best color of bright green. It just looks fun and racey. Of course Honda with the red looks good too. I wish more would use some flo colors like Nike Volt color.
Don't forget that Ducati's coming, too.

That last white KDX looks cool, still got some Kawi blue and a little pink but has the green background outlines, that would be pretty damn cool on a clean KX.
I remember seeing red KMX and ZX6/9-R models around.

Agreed it's the silver rims, just makes them look cheap and dull.
I own all of the top three currently and my favorite red is the mid ninetees neon red.
Agreed, a Flo yellow bike would look amazing and be very easy to spot on the track.
Triumph just needs more of the flo yellow, like the back fender and make the rad shroud all flo yellow. They could even do Triumph green instead of black and it would look tough.
Can always go pick up a new TM in these exact colors
I guess it's one of those beauty in the eye of the beholder things. The silver rims are my favorite part!
